We conserve, care for, and connect with lands and waters essential to life in the Inland Northwest.
Connecting people with nature is a crucial part of our mission. In addition to holding easements on private land, we partner with other organizations to help expand public parks and recreational opportunities.
We're excited to share that our has been renewed! After a rigorous verification process by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission , Inland Northwest Land Conservancy has proven that we have sound finances, practice ethical conduct and responsible governance and can ensure lasting stewardship. A win for conservation and our community!

As part of a public planning process, Washington State Parks developed its preliminary land use plan for the proposed boundary expansion at Riverside State Park to include Glen Tana. State Parks, in partnership with the Spokane Tribe of Indians and Inland Northwest Land Conservancy, is planning for the future of working to acquire Glen Tana for expanded environmental stewardship, recreational access in a high-demand and near urban location, and support of salmon reintroduction efforts.
State Parks invites the community to an open house to learn more. There will be posters and maps to view the preliminary land use recommendations.

Inland Northwest Land Conservancy is happy to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the Buffalo Exchange Tokens for Bags® program from July through December 2024.
You can now donate to your Conservancy just by shopping at Buffalo Exchange in downtown Spokane (Near the corner of Main Ave and Washington St). Instead of a plastic bag, the Tokens for Bags® program offers every customer who makes a purchase one “token” valued at five cents (the cost to produce a bag) to donate to one of several local charities selected by the store.
Since 1994, the program has generated over $962,840 for hundreds of local nonprofit organizations and saved over 19.25 million plastic bags from landfill!

No better way to spend Summer Solstice than a day in the field with a conservation-minded landowner near Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge. The area is teeming with birds, wildflowers, and the smells of damp earth and warm ponderosa pine trees 🥰
Happy National Pollinator Week! 🐝 🦋
Last spring, Conservancy volunteers helped build pollinator "hotels" for native species to nest in at Waikiki Springs Nature Preserve. Rather than living in hives, native solitary bees prefer to nest in small cavities, such as hollow stems, wood holes, or even underground burrows.
Pollinator hotels or houses can range in size, making them the perfect addition to any garden. Get crafty this summer while supporting pollinator health across the Inland Northwest with your very own DIY bee sanctuary.
Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads out there! 🦉🦅 Whether you're spotting birds or ripping down the river, the memories you create with your families are priceless.
Here's to many more adventures with your little explorers! 🐦💚

We need your support TODAY to keep our volunteers busy caring for Waikiki Springs Nature Preserve and other important conservation areas in our region! In February, someone broke into our tool barn, inflicting $30,000 worth of damage and theft. For the month of May, Clearwater Paper Corporation is offering a 2:1 match for your donations.
