“Conference of Champions” showcases the talented and inspiring scholars that make Pac-12 institutions some of the nation’s best. Jessica Reed, a senior majoring in African- and African-American studies, recalls her growth from her first year at Stanford to where she is today.

JESSICA REED, a Stanford senior from Detroit majoring in African American studies, is featured in the documentary. Reed is a spoken word artist whose poetry reflects her experiences at Stanford and her hope to return home to help inspire young people in her community. Also featured in the documentary are Stanford tour guides who explain the university’s distinctive use of acronyms while walking backward and PRESIDENT JOHN HENNESSY, who describes what makes today’s college students special.
