South Shore was the first in Suffolk County to perform a cardiac ablation on a patient with atrial fibrillation using the new technique of pulsed-field ablation — specifically with the Farawave catheter from Boston Scientific. Nicely done!

When Daniel Greco of Lake Grove went into cardiac arrest at an ATM machine in Melville, our Northwell NetworkCare team members immediately started CPR, which brought him back to life – twice.

After a successful triple bypass surgery and aortic valve replacement at North Shore University Hospital, Daniel is enjoying his second chance at life. ❤️

Last week, he returned to the ATM to thank our dedicated staff who saved him.
