We have some boys as part of the international exchange program that have specifically asked to come to Washington State. We are looking for some more hosts. Please consider opening your heart, home and life as a host family for the summer inbound program. Delegates must be placed in English speaking homes with children of the same gender and within three years of age. They come with their own insurance and spending money and are able to share a bedroom (need their own bed) with the host sibling. Although this is a 4-H sponsored event, hosts do not need to be involved in 4-H to participate.
Please pass the word amongst your friends, family, churches, sports teams, community groups etc. For more information email Carolyn at [email protected] or start an application at https://www.states4hexchange.org/apply/host/
Hosting a delegate for a few weeks is learning opportunity for the entire family. They are here to experience American life, not be tourists.
