On this Memorial Day, we at Spanaway Fitness honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service of our country. At noon today the music in the gym we be turned off for a minute of silence, from 1200 to 1201, to reflect on their ultimate sacrifice.

Please note that we will not have staff or childcare services available today as we observe this day of remembrance.

But we just wanted to remind everyone that wants access after hours that they must scan their key fob or enter in their six digit code. You can not piggyback on anyone. For example, if someone scans in and then you walk in after just forgetting to scan as well. if you do this, our system automatically charges the member you tailgate on a $25 tailgating fee plus a day pass fee.

If you are bringing a guest and it's after hours the guest must either go online and get the day pass from our website or scan the QR code on the window and obtain the day pass before coming in the gym if not you (the member) is automatically charged a $25 tailgating fee along with the day pass fee. This is starting to be a big problem so we just wanted to remind everybody.

1) We have a new power bar in (45lb) in all black. 2) something we are sure you’ve never seen or used. But these are spotter blocks. Used when you squat heavy in the combo racks. Please use them if you don’t have a spotter available to you. 3) and last we have new wire brushes to keep all the bars nice and clean.
