Congratulations to our two company dancers who attended conventions outside of what we require and came out with scholarships! Round of applause to who attended and who attended !! 👏🏽👏🏽🔥🙌🏽

Our dancers had a great time ! We witnessed many personal bests and others freshly competing their piece for the first time. Keep striving dancers! We have a few competitions left, let's finish off strong 💪🏽💥

We are on spring break starting today, classes will be back in session next Monday! See you all then ☀️✨️🕶👓

We're behind on sharing this information, but some of our students attended and and left not only with more knowledge but with scholarships! We always want our dancers to know the reason for going to conventions is for the experience and to gain more knowledge of a genre, getting a scholarship is not the entire experience it's a cherry on top. But needless to say, we are so proud of our dancers being recognized! Awesome job everyone! 👏🏽👏🏽

CALLING ALL 6-10 YEAR OLDS! THIS CLASS IS FOR YOU THIS SATURDAY!!

My name is Onyx and I go by they/he/she pronouns. I am a mover and choreographer from Las Vegas, Nevada. I started my dance journey about 13 years ago, as a Breaker, at a studio called The Rock Center for Dance. I have been fortunate enough to learn from a wide range of movers that come from many different backgrounds and experiences. Because of them and friends I've made along the way, my knowledge now ranges from Ballet all the way to Waacking. I am so excited to meet and dance with all of you wonderful movers and don't forget to bring that energy!!

First time having Ali Garoutte in our home and we are so excited to have her! Ali is a dancer, instructor, choreographer, and personal trainer based in Seattle, Washington. She has trained in hip hop, jazz, jazz funk, ballet, contemporary, and heels dance. Ali has been a part of training/performance groups such as PG Fam and Km Elite, and has taught class at many well known studios in the Seattle community such as  Kollective8, Kreativ Mndz, Westlake Dance Center, and Premiere Dance Center. Her credits include performances such as WE DAY Seattle, Jete and Carnival in LA, Monday night football halftime show with Ciara, "2020 vision" Music Video with Clemm Rishad, being a traveling assistant on the 541 Vibe City Tour, and more!

Coming back to FDC we have Hallie Keel, a dance instructor from Tacoma, Washington. She spent many years training under some of the most influential names in the dance industry, including Brian Friedman, Tricia Miranda, and Tessandra Chavez.  During her time as a student she traveled across the nation with The Pulse on Tour as an Elite Protege and with Velocity Dance Convention as their 2016 National Junior MVA Winner. She now enjoys teaching at various local studios and studying dance at Pacific Lutheran University. Hallie describes her movement as an accumulation of her diverse training background and is excited to return to FDC for our workshop!

Mario Manansala has loved moving to the beat of the music from a young age. He has trained in various styles, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, modern, tap, Bollywood, lyrical, and musical theater dance. Mario has danced with Moscow Ballet and has attended summer courses with Joffrey Ballet School, ECB, MDA, and International Ballet Theater. He was accepted into Oregon Ballet Theatre School’s and Joffrey Ballet School’s year-round programs on scholarships. He joined Continuum Dance Company in 2019 and Syncopation Dance Company in 2020. Mario had the pleasure of working with Deborah Hadley, Eva Stone, Julie Tobiason, Nastya Gnatyshyn (from Moscow Ballet), Nicole Ciapponi (from Joffery Ballet), Josie Welsh (ballet red), Angela Rebelo (State Street Ballet), Karl Watson (Whim W’him), Gillmer Duran (Ballet Arizona), Valery Lantratov (former principal ballet dancer with the Moscow Stanislavsky Ballet and Kremlin Ballet and general director of the Russian National Ballet Foundation), and other notable individuals. He has participated in dance events such as CHOP SHOP: Bodies of Work, BoostMeUP, Dance to Make a Difference, and has performed in professional music videos and commercials.
