Boys & Girls Clubs provide life-changing programs and opportunities for youth. GREAT FUTURES START HERE.
"Last week while a few teens were waiting for their ride, I overheard them talking about college and taking the SAT. One of the teens wasn't sure if he needed to take it or not. Casey (Teen Late Night Lead) heard what the teens were talking about so he pulled up a chair and just started talking with them about their plans after high school and what steps they are taking to get there. At the end of the conversation, Casey gave all the teens the names of someone they can connect with at their high schools” - Kara Smith (Eastside Site Coordinator)
As a former Club member himself, Casey was super eager to join the organization with us temporarily this Summer. During the the school year he works with College Success Foundation and is an alumni of that program as well. His experience and skills have allowed us to connect with youth about post secondary pathways and introduce them to more conversations about their futures.
