💭Favorite PLU Swim memory: “My hotel room during hawai’i training trip, making dinners and getting to know everyone better. Going to state with the special Olympics swim team. Seeing a horse on the beach during my junior year training trip.”
🤔Advice for incoming first years: “Take every experience, whether good or bad, as something to learn from. Additionally, make sure the people you surround yourself with make you feel safe, seen, and welcome!”

🗓️Plans after graduating: “Try and get my foot in the door to do advertising for companies and poster work. And to become the head coach for the Lynnwood sharks summer swim team”

💭Favorite PLU Swim memory: “My favorite memory was probably the first day of practice my first year at PLU. Starting as a junior at a new school was scary but there was never a time that the PLU swim team didn’t make me feel welcomed.”
🤔Advice for incoming first years: “College is fun and busy and challenging and its okay to not understand everything. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. It’s amazing what you can accomplish with the help of others.
AND DONT BE AFRAID TO JOIN THE BIG D SQUAD AND SWIM THE MILE!!!!!! It’s only 66 laps you will be fine...after 20 mins
👋Shoutouts: “I want to shout out my family, my boyfriend joey, and my friends for everything they have done for me to finish out college and a shout out to the distance squad for being a wonderful training group and making sure I didn’t die alone.”

🗓️Plans after graduating: “Somehow find a job”
🏊♀️Favorite events: 200IM and 100 Fly
💭Favorite PLU Swim memory: “Training trip my junior year, we played volleyball on the beach and I couldn’t stop laughing the entire time. Eating dinner at Raising Canes with Sarah and Tyler the last night of training trip. Seeing Torri Huske at PAC 12s. Coaching for Special Olympics and going to state with Reina and Luke.”
🤔Advice for incoming first years: “Five years of experience will really help you gain some wisdom, and I have some to offer! One thing I don’t regret is getting involved with stuff on campus! It may have been exhausting yes but I enjoyed all the connections made from them and the many opportunities it provided me! Another tip is to surround yourself with those who make you happy and you enjoy spending your time around them. Those are the people who will help you through everything and support you through life.

The Lutes celebrated with our annual White Elephant Party today to cap off the Fall before we turn our focus to finals next week 🎁.
