I heard this morning that Dave Warne passed away. There would not be a Beat Lab without him and his influence. For some reason he insisted that I perform with Encore Winds (alongside Tim Huffman) and the TSO before I was even in high school. He also allowed me to work with him when his shop was in the Cherryland Mall. Lifelong lessons were learned and my passion is to pass them along to the next generation.
