We had so much fun throughout National Skilled Nursing Care Week and to wrap it up we finished with Freedom Hill Farm!
Everyone loved it!

Freedom Hill Farms

To kick off NSNCW we had a memory lane exhibit with displays of some of our residents about me's and their memories. What a joy to see their faces light up with memories from their past. We could not have made this possible without the family's help in gathering pictures. Thank you to all who helped!

Our volunteer Don Silsbe did a cooking class on how to make homemade fettucine noodles and alfredo sauce!
Oh, how tasty it was!

We enjoyed the sunshine and planted some herbs!🌞🪴

Earlier this week we enjoyed some sunshine and popcicles!

Yesterday we took in the beautiful sun shiny day by enjoying a pizza luncheon outside!

In celebration of National Pizza Day, we made our own and they were delicious!

To help you prepare for Valentine's Day, we ask our seniors for their best Valentine's advice. ❤️❤️❤️

We would like to thank hospice for such a wonderful Veterans pining ceremony last Friday!

It was a Spooky blast yesterday for the White Oak of Tryon Family!

We got to enjoy some music this afternoon! Our special guests performing were Shohei and a local guitar maker Jay Lichty.

In celebration of Independence Day, we had Strawberries and Cream dessert with Blue Punch! We hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July!

Yesterday, we enjoyed a pizza party lunch and Ice cream for dessert! 🍕🍦

As we continue to celebrate National Nursing Home week, we had Deena from Enhabit Home Health bring in a delicious breakfast in for the staff. This afternoon we had Don, one of our volunteers, make BBQ Nachos for our residents and staff.

We kicked off National Skilled Nursing Care Week by enjoying a belated Mother's Day Tea Social this afternoon with yummy snack and thirst quenching tea!

We enjoyed an afternoon of petting and feeding all kinds of animals!

This week is Long Term Care Administrator’s Week, where we honor and celebrate the important role administrators have in providing leadership for the delivery of quality, resident-centered care and a supportive work environment.
Our administrators are key players in the care team and are entrusted with the responsibility of managing the care of our loved ones. They touch the lives of residents and families, and, most importantly, ensure that our staff provides the highest level of quality care to a vulnerable population. What an honor and what a gift for White Oak to have such incredible people in these roles!
Thank you to all of our administrators for everything they do every single day! We celebrate their hard work and leadership in helping us serve our clients and communities! Congratulations on an incredible job!

We still can't get over Santa coming to visit us for Christmas!

All shook up! We enjoyed our milkshakes and a visit from Elvis!

Last week we took Assisted living residents out to eat at Bowen's Landing and then to see Christmas lights at the Christmas House! We had such as wonderful time!

Sugar cookie decorating and eating was so much fun!

The Grinch was spotted at White Oak today, strolling through the halls, and visiting our wonderful residents.
