Wellness Coach, Jennifer Carson will be leading Codependence Recovery Groups on Monday & Wednesday this fall.

👉Changes that Heal begins August 19th/ August 21st, and meets for 15 weeks on Mondays OR Wednesdays from 12:30-2:30.

In this ground-breaking book, Dr. Cloud takes the reader step-by-step through the four basic tasks of becoming mature image bearers of God: Bonding to others – Separating from others – Sorting out good and bad in ourselves and others – Becoming an adult — Dr. Cloud not only explains and describes each task, he also identifies the problems that result when we fail to accomplish that task, and he shows us what changes to make in our lives in order to bring about healing.

Our integrative team incorporates somatic treatments and whole person modalities like yoga therapy, emotion release massage, soul care, and whole person health and nutrition. Trauma can be one big thing that happened to you or the accumulation of many smaller things that shrink your window of tolerance, or your ability to respond appropriately to stress.

When we engage the body through movement, breath-work, and other self-regulation practices, we begin to remove the roadblocks and train our nervous system to find balance.

This is the beauty of holistic counseling. What the mind may not remember, the body does. Engaging the body may be one of the first steps to finding peace and balance.

⭐ At Living Well, we offer a holistic approach to counseling. Each therapist takes time to thoroughly understand each client so we can best walk alongside them. We learn about their environment, relationships past and present, challenges and traumas, stressors, and the client’s physical condition.

⭐ Then we work together to determine the goals of therapy. We aim to approach the needs of each client holistically through therapies that engage mind, body, and soul.

We have counselors who are now accepting **NEW CLIENTS**

LPCs - (Licensed Professional Counselors) have the most tenure and experience & see clients for $135/ session.

LPC-Associates have completed their graduate degree but are working toward their required number of hours (3,000) to be considered fully licensed. Their rate is $90/ session.

Masters Level Students are currently in graduate school. The rate for a student counselor is $50/ session.

All LPC- Associates & Students are under the supervision of an LPC-S (supervisor).

What do you do to play? Playing as we age is important, not only for our mental health but for our longevity & overall well-being.

Play might look like:
painting or taking an art class
fishing
doing puzzles/ meeting friends for game night
refurbishing an old vehicle
dancing

Anything that takes you away. Anything that is time spent without purpose, you don't want it to end and it leads to a loss of self-consciousness can be play.

This summer join Masters Level Student, Reagan Duvak for a group just for girls entering 7th & 8th grade. Reagan is under the supervision of Molly Moore, LPC-S. For four Tuesdays in July, this group will meet at Living Well to learn social skills, discuss problem solving, how to make friends, coping strategies, building self confidence, and more!

The group will meet Tuesdays from 3:30-5:00pm, July 9th- 30th.
