TCI is a growing commercial and residential framing company in Des Moines Iowa. We primarily focus on metal and wood framing but will do finish carpentry and buildouts as well. We value doing things right and don't sacrifice on quality.

We're looking for experienced Framing Carpenters to join our team

You'll be a great fit you have:
- a valid drivers license
- reliable transportation
- your own hand tools and bags
- at least 2 years experience framing
- ability to lift 50lbs

Essential job functions:

Interpret building plans and blueprints

Mark, cut, and assemble materials to exact measurements.

Verify accuracy of structures with tools such as a laser, framing squares, and levels.

Fit and install prefabricated frames, trim, and hardware. Perform both rough and finish type of work.

Utilize carpentry hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner, properly store and return tools to shop for repair, maintenance, and tracking.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Very proud of our guys on a job well done! Cordova Park’s Observation Building turned out beautifully.

It’s been a fruitful last couple of weeks. We have plated, built walls, fire blocked, sheathed, raised all partitions, and set trusses for the Cordova Park Office. We will have everything but the timber truss area done by Friday. Timber trusses will be in around the end of July.

Snapped all the lines at the Cordova Park Office site today. The Stabilla layout laser made squaring a breeze. Since I was working solo, I hammered a 16d nail (sinker) into the top layer of the concrete foundation so I could snap lines.
