Hokuloa Outrigger Canoe Club is stoked to have teamed up with Mary Osborne Surf for an epic Teen Surfari adventure activity last week! 🏄‍♀️

Together, we welcomed a wave of bright, young Surfari Dudettes into the world of outrigger canoe paddling. 🌺 These teenage campers got a taste of the paddling life, and we’re pretty sure they’re hooked now. 🤙

A huge shoutout to our volunteers who helped make this event possible. 💪 Your time and effort truly embody the spirit of Hokuloa and our love for the ocean. 🫶

We look forward to providing more opportunities for our local community to experience the sport of outrigger canoe paddling.🌴

A crew of Hokuloans competed in the NA PALI RACE this past weekend and earned 1st place in the Traditional 50+ division.

Our paddlers raced 37 miles down the stunning Na Pali Coast - with 6 wahine and 6 kane making water changes every 30 minutes.

Dana Point weather was on point for yesterday’s Wh**ey Harrison Classic 9-man race.

Hokuloa Outrigger Canoe Club is partnering with California State Parks to provide an outrigger paddling experience as part of their Junior Lifeguard (JL) program this summer.

Over a nine week period, Hokuloa is hosting groups of approximately 100 JLs ages 9-14 every Wednesday from June 19 - August 14.

Not only is Hokuloa Outrigger Canoe Club's Ventura Outrigger Challenge happening at the end of Spinnaker Drive in Ventura Harbor this Saturday June 8th, but also visitors have the opportunity to celebrate with the National Park Service right across the way!🌊

Paso Pacifico is hosting a special event at Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center from noon-4:30pm with various screenings (including films by Patagonia and live broadcasts by Ericeira World Surf Reserve), plus presentations by NPS Marine researchers and more! We partnered with the MERITO Foundation last month to provide nearly 60 8th grade students from De Anza Academy of Technology & Arts - DATA an unforgettable outrigger canoeing experience — teaching them to harness their physical strength and work as a team.
