The wellbeing and comfort of our patients are at the center of everything we do. Over the last few months, we have been working with community members, frontline team members, and leaders to evaluate our visitor guidelines which have been in place for the last year. Based on the feedback we’ve received and our continued work to create a patient-centered care environment, we will be making the following changes to our visitor guidelines.
Effective June 1, 2024:
➡ Routine visitor hours for the Medical Center will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. for Med/Surg Units, Intermediate Critical Care Units, Intensive Care Units, and Mother Baby/Post-Partum.
➡ Visitors will be able to access the Medical Center through the Acequia Wing Lobby and the Mineral King Wing Lobby during those hours.
➡ There are two visitors permitted in a room at a time in all areas, except where guidelines indicate only one at a time, or when exceptions are approved by unit leadership.
*All other visitor guidelines remain the same.* Providing excellent care is the result of a great partnership between our healthcare team, our patients and their families. We appreciate your feedback and support as we continue working to elevate the care we provide to patients. 🧡
