Happy 22nd ! As we wrap up the 2023-2024 Sorority Year we would like to thank you for your commitment to Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated!

We also would like to end on a note. We are asking for alumnae chapters to celebrate all Undergraduate Sorors who are making the commitment to transition to an alumnae chapter for the 2024-2025 Sorority Year.

Dear Sorors,

It is with sorrow that I inform you of the passing of Syntaktes Deborah I. Walsh, the esteemed 20th Syntaktes of the Northeastern Region.

Syntaktes Walsh passed on today, June 3, 2024. This is a tremendous loss to our organization. Her dedication and leadership have left an indelible mark on our sisterhood. Syntaktes Walsh was a visionary leader whose commitment profoundly helped shape the history of the Northeastern Region. Her absence will be deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.

As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate her life and legacy. We will inform you of the arrangements as soon as they are finalized so that those who wish to pay their respects may do so. Please keep her family, friends, and Sorors in your thoughts during this challenging time.

Happy Founders' Day to the National Pan-Hellenic Council from the Greater Women of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated! The National Pan-Hellenic Council was founded on May 10, 1930.

The purpose of the NPHC is to promote "unanimity of thought and action as far as possible in the conduct of Greek letter collegiate fraternities and sororities, and to consider the problems of mutual interest to its member organizations."

Rates of su***de among Black youth have risen faster than any other racial or ethnic group in the past two decades.

Join the Eta Omicron Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. as we co-sponsor the Public Policy Forum with the women of the Nu Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. on December 9th.
