Grate Patrol sandwich assembly at Wesley Sunday, June 25th.

National UMC supports the salvation army grate patrol that delivers food to the hungry across the district of columbia every night. We welcome volunteers for this vital ministry. We make sandwiches and pack lunches on the fourth or fifth Sunday of the month, in the Wesley Fellowship Hall after the worship service and in the Metropolitan Memorial Vestry after the 9 am service.

October 22, 2022, Jazz at Wesley presents Iva Jean Ambush and Jazz Ambuscade. Iva is a renowned DC jazz vocalist. Like her idols Billie Holiday and Nina Simone, Iva has a unique sense of phrasing and interpreting music. Leigh's combo has played at many of DC’s top jazz venues, including Blues Alley, Westminster Presbyterian, Jazz at the Garden, and the Mansion at Strathmore. Also, hot meals are back at Wesley!
