Tired of dealing with poor posture? Looking for a new approach to correct the effects of long hours at your desk? Join us for our all new Practical Posture group exercise class Mondays and Thursdays at 1 pm. Don’t settle for less than the best; learn how to persistently and practically address those pesky postural pains!

Happy Wednesday Everyone! The next time you come in to the fitness center, check out our Fitness on Demand service in the group exercise room. There's a wide range of workouts to choose from including HIIT, Yoga, Cycling, Strength Training, and more! Once you choose your workout it will project on the screen and a virtual trainer will take you through the workout. This will be available for you to use 24/7. Try it out whenever you get the chance!

Hey COHO Community! Check out this move of the week! The Glute Bridge has plenty of health benefits and can be done in a gym, at home, or even in your bed when you wake up in the morning! You can hold the position for as long as you can or start at a position of rest, thrust up through your heals and glutes, then return to a position of rest repeatedly. Give it a try whenever you get the chance!

YOUR vote matters! It is that time again to elect your COHO Fitness Center Board of Directors for the upcoming term.
Nominations:
If you are interested in nominating yourself to be a board member, please find the nomination application attached. If you know of a colleague and fellow member who would be a great addition to the COHO Board, please encourage him or her to apply! Applications are available in the fitness center and must be submitted by close of business on Monday, September 18, 2023. Once applications are received, a ballot will be created and all members will have a chance to cast a vote.
Elections:
The election voting period will be Monday, September 25 - Friday, September 29, 2023. All votes must be submitted in person in the fitness center during this period. Active members of the COHO Fitness Center can each submit one ballot/voting sheet to select our board members for the next term.
Confirmation of elected members will be announced on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

COHO's June Movement of the Month (MOM)!
The CLAMSHELL!
PURPOSE:
To strengthen the gluteus medius muscle (outside of the hips) and increase pelvic stability.
HOW TO PERFORM:
-Lay on your side with knees bent and feet, knees and hips stacked on top of each other.
-Keeping the point of contact at the feet, pull your knees apart into a clamshell position.
-Repeat for 2 x 10-15 repetitions on each side.
