ICOS 7710 Cognitive Science Core Course: a Core Seminar in the Cognitive Science graduate program is available to take this fall. Anyone interested in enrolling in or auditing the class please contact Abigail Marsh, PhD for the syllabus and more info.
The class is open to:
• All PhD students in PSYC, PHIL, LING, COSC, and NSCI (for 3 course credits or as auditors)
• Post-doctoral student auditors
• MA student auditors in Cognitive Science disciplines, with our approval
• A limited number of undergraduate majors in Cognitive Science disciplines (for 3 course credits), with our approval (we are piloting the class as an over-under this year)
They occasionally have faculty auditors - Interested faculty are also welcome to contact Abigail Marsh, PhD.
The class will be a hybrid of Zoom & in-person meetings in White Gravenor 311B.

Fall Cognitive Science Core Graduate Seminar (ICOS 7710) is being offered as an elective credit course. They have an interdisciplinary lineup of presenters from across the university discussing topics from AI and large language models to consciousness to moral philosophy.
The class is open to:
• PhD students in any cognitive science discipline, including PSYC and NSCI (for 3 credits; the class can be taken more than once!)
• MA students (who will need approval)
• PhD student auditors

Congratulations to Dr. Alison Schug. She came to Georgetown in the Fall of 2017. She was one of the 7 students that graduated in our 1st cohort of the MS in Integrative Neuroscience program in the Class of 2018. She was accepted in the PhD in Neuroscience program and began her PhD journey in the summer of 2018. On Friday, August 4, 2023, Alison Schug received her PhD. We are so proud of her.
