In honor of , we're highlighting work in the Arctic-Yukon-Kuskokwim region that builds resilient freshwater systems. This includes developing baseline ecosystem information to inform salmon conservation, preventing invasive species through early detection and rapid response, fostering natural river processes and connectivity, and supporting ecological services for surrounding and downstream communities.
Our commitment extends to a collaborative effort with Tribal partners to assess, monitor, and restore physical and biological processes in the basin for the benefit of salmon habitat.
