Our Story

GW Events designs, executes and hosts cultural, education and traditional events across The George Washington University campus. Our goal is to connect GW students, faculty and staff, as well as the larger community, to events featuring eminent guest speakers, thought leaders, performers and more. Our events celebrate the unique history and culture of the University, and provide students with opportunities for learning and enrichment outside of the classroom.

One of our largest and most historic venues on campus, Lisner Auditorium, has served as an anchor for arts and culture on the Foggy Bottom campus since 1946. Lisner Auditorium continues to host world class events and activities, attracting well over 100,000 visitors a year to The George Washington University.
