Kingdom Workers
Kingdom Workers is a global, Christian nonprofit working to meet people's physical & spiritual needs. We do whatever it takes to connect people to Jesus.
"I support Kingdom Workers because the love that we received from Christ must be shared, and Kingdom Workers is a perfect way to share that love."
-Mark S., Kingdom Workers donor
Christ Alone Lutheran Church in Thiensville, Wisconsin, hosted a Jesus Cares Ice Cream Social!
What do you need in life? Naturally, you need food, water, a place to sleep in order to survive your earthly life. But in this verse, Jesus reminds us that what is truly important is the saving Word of the Bible. Later in Matthew (6:33), Jesus tells his followers that they must seek first the kingdom of God, and all these other things will be added unto them as well.
We know that so often we spend more time worrying about what we'll eat or what we'll wear rather than taking time to thank God both for providing what we need on earth and giving us a place in heaven we don't deserve. Take time this weekend to remember God's greatest blessing - salvation through the death of our Savior Jesus.
Today is International Day of Charity!

Throughout the Summer, Builders for Christ assisted Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in West Bend, Wisconsin, in constructing their new sanctuary.
Thank you to our volunteers for serving and helping this church continue to serve its community!
Happy Labor Day!
Ecclesiastes 3:12-13, "I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God."
In Ethiopia and Kenya, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) training brings sustainable physical and spiritual aid to South Sudanese refugees who fled violence in their home country. It also provides an opportunity for former South Sudanese refugees to volunteer and serve their friends, family, and fellow neighbors still living in the refugee camps and settlements.
The shared experiences of both the volunteers and those being served allows for emotional healing to take place. The training provided by the visiting volunteers to the local health educators brings physical healing and illness prevention to those living in the refugee camps and settlements. And the devotions and prayers encourage spiritual healing and perseverance for all those who listen.
Students at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Peridot, Arizona, made this poster for our Builders for Christ volunteers who assisted in their school construction!
Our sinful pride wants us to follow our own path, but this path leads only to destruction. Walking in the way of the Lord brings peace. How do we walk according to the law of the Lord? We read His Word!
God's Word is a lamp to our feet, and a light for our path as we continue on toward the heavenly goal. It is through the Word that we hear about Jesus' death and resurrection that cleanses us from sin. It is through the Word that we are called to spread the gospel and love our neighbor. Take time today to reflect on a section of God's Word.
"Recently, I saw wood turn into water.
It sounds like a magic trick, but it wasn’t. It all started with a bored 9-year-old who was looking for something to do after school. Landon has a mop of curly dark hair, mischievous eyes, and so much energy that he never stops moving.
His brother and cousin told him to check out the Lighthouse Youth Center that had recently opened in a church not too far from his home.
He enjoyed hanging out there, and especially liked participating in the Kingdom Workers construction program called Build Up that takes place there once a week. Through that program Landon has been able to work on projects like constructing co****le boards and building a picnic table (his favorite project so far)."

Kingdom Workers all over the world are expanding the reach of the gospel. Kingdom Workers like you.
No level of support is too small to make a difference. When we come together and place our gifts in God’s hands, the impact is far more than we could ask or imagine.
Through Jesus Christ, our salvation and eternity in heaven are assured. There is nothing we need to do to earn our salvation and praise God for his mercy and grace!
Out of thankfulness for the free and full redemption, we can model God's love to our neighbors by caring for those in need and spreading the good news of the gospel. In showing love to the widows and orphans, we may be showing love to angels in disguise! (Hebrews 13:2).
James 1:27, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

People dying from lack of access to clean water. Children hidden away because they were born with a disability. Communities lacking access to proper sanitation solutions. These are real issues faced by real people around the world.
We’ve learned to assume we don’t have all the answers. We like to ask, “What makes you lose sleep at night?” This question always connects us to real needs such as food security, access to water, health, nutrition, and more. That’s why each of our programs work alongside and with local community members because only they know what issues they face.
How can you give to Kingdom Workers?
Change a life on every level all around the world by combining earthly care with spiritual support. When you give to Kingdom Workers, you’re making a lasting impact made possible by mission programs focused on improving health, shattering stigmas, and seeking the lost.

This summer, Builders for Christ has been working with Shepherd of the Hills in West Bend, Wisconsin, on their sanctuary expansion.
Shepherd of the Hills is a growing church with over 900 members and had outgrown its current sanctuary. With Builders for Christ's help, the project is well underway! The church is excited to worship God in the new sanctuary soon.
Sometimes our problems can feel like too much for us to bear. Fortunately, nothing is too much for our Savior Jesus. He invites us to cast all our anxieties on him (1 Peter 5:7), and he will deliver us with his almighty power.
Since its founding in 1986, Kingdom Workers has partnered with bold believers to share the message of Christ. See the highlights from nearly four decades in this infographic!
