We're excited to spotlight a special event from Helen Woodward Animal Center that honors our service members with a fantastic offering during this appreciative month. They are hosting the "Animals for Armed Forces" adoption event from May 25-27, offering no adoption fees for military members!

Pets have a remarkable ability to enhance mental well-being, providing unconditional love and companionship that can ease the stress of military life. This event at Helen Woodward is a perfect opportunity for service members to find a new furry family member who can bring joy and companionship into their homes.

Let’s help our heroes find their new best friends and spread the joy that pets bring into our lives!

CRITCAL MISSING/ ENDANGERED VETERAN:

Alright fam, especially those who are in TN but really anywhere because we have no legit direction of travel.
JP Barna is a Marine Corps veteran and he has been missing since 2130hrs on 3/22/24 in Leslie, Michigan. He left his cell phone behind along with a note saying he "could be found at a bridge". Bridge name is unknown or even which state. He is driving a 2007 silver Saturn Ion (as shown) and his license plate is on the flyer. Michigan State Police have an active missing persons report/BOLO out on him. He does not own fi****ms, unlikely to be carrying one. He suffers from PTSD. Please share this post and lets get him home, fam! We will Update this Post as New Info comes in!!! Thank You!!!

"When we try new things but use old methods, often we find ourselves frustrated that they don't work, get results we aren't anticipating, or flat out get opposite reactions that we are hoping for. This is because we limit our actions to methods that we are accustomed to, that are comfortable to us, that are tried and true. Sadly, often life has moved on beyond those methods. For instance, we old timers think that deleting an email makes it go away for good, but we don't know about recycle bins, stored memory chips, saved emails on other servers, etc. There's having to empty the recycle bin, unsend the email, clear the RAM, clean the cache, etc. All sorts of new keys and new doors we have to learn. Sometimes the old methods just don't work and it's time to learn new ways to work things out that we may not have thought of.
