Crandall Pool is located at 727 Brewerton Rd. in Arvin Gym.
Open to Active Duty Personnel, DoD Civilians, Retired Personnel & West Point Community Family Members. Please note the pool depth is between 8-16 feet and is not recommended for use by young children as there are no shallow areas.

Did you know there are six U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program Soldiers at the Olympics in Paris? Three are athletes, three are coaches. CPT Samantha Sullivan won a bronze medal as a member of Team USA Women's Rugby 7s by defeating Australia. Later this month two Soldier-Athletes will compete at the Paralympics. This event will be from 3:00pm-5:00pm in the Crest and Grand Ballrooms, and is open to the entire West Point Community as well as the General Public.
We will be hosting over 70 booths, including local businesses, clubs, eateries, services, and more! Stop by to learn about them and score some freebies!
Remember to get your Community Fair Passport at the MWR booth when you arrive! It functions like a scavenger hunt—if you visit all 21 participating booths and get their stamp/signature, you can enter to win exclusive raffle prizes from MWR! ✨️
The passport itself functions as your ticket, and must be submitted to the MWR booth. (Make sure to fill out your name and stick around for the drawing! To win a prize, you must be in attendance at the Fair when names are being drawn. Winners will be announced over the PA system.)

Our Outdoor Recreation (ODR) Equipment Checkout Center is offering a kayaking trip to Constitution Island for experienced kayakers! This event will leave from South Dock on Saturday, August 3rd at 8:30am, and will return at 3pm. The cost is $50 per person and includes equipment. Open to ages 16+.
You will have the opportunity to get a personal history tour by the island's caretaker, as well as time to eat your packed lunch and explore the island. Bring ample water, sun protection, and clothing you are good with getting wet.

Go Army Spirit Luncheons are back at our West Point Club's Grand Ballroom! Each luncheon is a Pep Rally for that week's game. Doors open at 11am and the luncheon begins at 12pm.

Great news pickleball players! Our Family and MWR Sports Office is conducting sign-ups for the West Point Community Noontime Indoor Pickleball Open Play. The games will be played year round on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12-1pm at Arvin Gym 2nd floor courts.

Join CYS for their free Parent Workshop on Online Safety for Elementary Age Children!
This workshop will take place at the School Age Center (140 Buckner Loop) from 3:30pm-4:30pm. In it, they will define internet safety, discuss ways that children use the internet, and explore the benefits & risks of internet use! They will also discuss cyberbullying & how to keep children safe online.

Army Community Service (ACS) was born 59 years ago this week.
They deliver programs and services that keep Soldiers and Families resilient, ready, and empowered. The Exceptional Family Member Program assists Family members with special needs. Financial Readiness helps Soldiers and Families get a handle on credit, debt, and other money management issues. Employment Readiness gives military spouses a little boost in their search for a good job, and Family Advocacy gives you a chance to let leadership know how they can make Army life better. And there are LOTS more programs, too!
