These talented comedians —all veterans and military dependents— just returned from an Armed Forces Entertainment tour of Japan and are making their first visit to West Point. A stirring concert for the West Point community to commemorate the 60th anniversary of GEN Douglas MacArthur's famous speech to the Corps of Cadets. Featuring the full score premiere of Steven Sametz's "West Point Salute," a setting of portions of MacArthur's speech for chorus, brass, and percussion, commissioned by the Glee Club. Also featuring Craig Williams in the world premiere of Grimoaldo Macchia's "CRAIG Toccata for Organ," and works by Copland, Thompson, Stroope, Rardin, Chatman, and Locklair.

This Sunday, the West Point S***t and Trap team will travel to Connecticut to compete in a head-to-head shoot with Yale. The history of this rivalry dates back to the early 1940s, with the shoot's results often making the New York Times. We are excited to continue the tradition this weekend.

Yale has a great team website with a short history of their team and West Point rivalry. It is written by Dr. Person -- a former Yale shooter who now teaches at West Point and coaches the West Point Team. Its the one time of year we let him wear his Yale hat.
