We forget sometimes that our energy ebbs and flows like the tides pulled by the moon.

Need to ground and stay calm?
May peace come to you.
Desire to connect with others and deepen?
May you find genuineness together.
We live, grow and heal in cycles.
If we honor our natural flow, we accept where we are now and it feels natural to shift when the time is right.
Worry not. Growth will come when you feel called to shed that which no longer serves you.
Trust your own inner guidance.
That is your soul leading you down the path best meant for your own development.

Musings on Magick:

Magick is like this: when you believe you can you will.

Is that 100%?

Of course not.

If you believe you will win the lottery it doesn't mean it will happen tomorrow.

However, if you believe you have something unique to make and sell you can pursue that.

If you believe you have a good skill to teach you could try to find students.

If you believe you have something important to say you can write about it and look for a means to sell your work.

All of these start with a belief in yourself.

Are you beholden to the capitalist economy we all currently exist in?

You betcha.

Magick is our use of directed will following our clear intention.

It is not outside nature.

It is, indeed, NOT supernatural.

That's only in Hollywood.

Yet I ask you to expand your mind about what IS natural.

Serendipity is natural.

I believe it is Goddess's way of bringing us what we need.

Is it possible your magick can do things you have only imagined?

Absolutely.

Who would have thought a poor girl from a ghetto in the Midwest could grow up to be a Priestess of the Goddess?

Yet, here I am.

Magick can bring you even MORE than you can currently imagine.

If you can clarify your intention, get to the root of your soul's deepest desire you can find a path to get there.

That path may have twists and turns.

That path may have detours.

It may very likely take you places you did not imagine.

Yet, a path exists.

Often, the most profound inner growth is the place you did not foresee.

Sometimes, the path to reach your intention may have painful lessons along the way.

This, too, is a part of the magick.

It is the transformative magick of becoming who we need to be to inhabit the person who can fulfill our deepest desires.

Sometimes, we must shed parts of ourselves along the way that no longer serve us.

When we choose to release those ideas with gentleness and grace for ourselves it can make the path easier to walk.

Finding a thousand small ways to practice loving yourself along the way IS the magick.

Perhaps it is the deepest lesson of all in this time and place.

First, getting in touch with your deepest soul's truth & desires.

Then taking real steps inside and out to love yourself into that path of evolution.

Remember we do not shame ourselves into growth. We love ourselves into evolution.

Practicing this over and over in balance with the deep mystery of radical self acceptance is our life's soul journey.

How can we practice radical self acceptance while striving for evolution?

Behold, here is Her path of wisdom.

For to love ourselves enough we begin to release whatever ideas that no longer serve us may be our only real way forward.

So, find small every day ways to love yourself as you are.

Give yourself encouragement and celebrate every small victory.

Applaud those moments you took to brush the cat.

Give yourself a pat on the back for starting your own laundry.

Beam with pride when you get that artistic expression out of your own fingertips.

Have you resolved every issue?

Probably not.

Can you choose to be your own cheerleader along the way.

100% yes!

Maybe think of it like this: your soul started up this version of existence on the Earth on your birthdate.

If you believe your soul is older than that date or has access to more information than your current lifetime then this Earth walk is a classroom.

A place to practice what your soul knows.

A place to learn, deepen and grow in your relationship to yourself and others.

What is your soul's true purpose for being here?

Why are you here?

Answer that and take right action to follow the answer.

Keep asking yourself that question over and over.

Keep following that soul deep inner guidance to your next steps.

Keep on practicing how to love yourself on the path.

It's all a part of the Earth lesson here and now.

It all counts.


It all matters.
The voice you speak to yourself with.

The spider you carry outside.

The kindness you offer a stranger.

The hug you give a friend.

Bless yourself and those around you with your deepest purpose and your truth.

Bless yourself and all around you with your magick.

The energy you put out will return to you.

Dandelions are like women
Tough & life bringing
Expansive. Eternal. Unstoppable.
Dandelions are little suns upon the Earth
Just like the Great She in the sky who gives us life
No matter what a dandelion will live
No soil? She will grow through a crack in cement
Mown down? She will rise again quickly
Poison Her? She will spawn more resilient babies
Women are like the Great Mother Sun
We bring life, no matter what they do to us
We are resilient
We feed others
We grant wishes
Together, we are overwhelming and all encompassing
No one can eradicate us all
We grow back
We rise again
We embody Her power
We shine like the sun
We bring life
We have the power to make people smile
We grant wishes
We are eternal
We are like the sun
Life bringing, nourishing, we feed others
As the bees dance in dandelion fields
We nurture. We create life. We sustain life.
We are sunshine and life embodied
We are Her Bright Daughters

I read today about a besom aka a broom being a witch's tool. We all have one. We can all sweep and clean away what ever has accumulated in the dark corners, those things that hide under the couch.

So, too, can we attempt to hoover out of the dark corners of our minds that which holds us back. That idea of cleansing is something we usually associate with spring ala spring cleaning. This year, though, the broom has called to me as that most mundane of tools to use to let things go.

As the owls and bats danced in my yard this Samhain night I also thought of flying. We witches were said to fly on brooms. How can we lighten our mental load so that we can spread our wings? Hollow out our bones of the concrete that weighs us down, the old damage, so that we may fly free?

Whatever your Samhain season is about may it be blessed and filled with whatever brings you cleansing and helps you soar.

Now is the time.

Have you been waiting?

Waiting to become what you are supposed to be?

Do it now.

Do it while you can.

Do it when you know what it is.

Leap, try, grow.

You cannot fail.

Even if you do not achieve your goal you will grow.

You will learn.

Your perspective is needed.

Your right action is craving to happen.

Someone else needs to hear what you need to say.

Someone else needs to receive the action you feel the need to give.

Build it. Make it. Create it. Sing it. Write it.

Hug that person.

Make that phone call.

Write that letter.

Don't stay bottled up.

Why? If not to feel and be real, why did you come here?

Be genuine. Be yourself. Be it out loud.

Magick is a funny thing.

Sometimes you have to have faith that some how, some way it will dance back into your life.

No matter how many times you have to holler into the void, eventually, the call is returned and the magick will spiral again.

Keep on speaking until the right person listens.

Keep on listening until the right person speaks to your soul.

Think about this the next time you meet a new person.

How can you most positively impact that new person's life?

What can you share with them?

What can you learn from them?

How can you be each other's teachers?

How can you help walk each other home?
