THE FINAL COUNTDOWN IS ON. HELLO WEEK 7️⃣, 📍WESTPORT!

💭In these last two weeks of this training block, we’re NAILING the moves, the timing, the weights, AND the recovery! Recovering well between sets is a GREAT sign of adaptation to a program!

💪MONDAY / HYPER: Upper body tri-sets. Focus on proper weight selection and continuing to nail form and control. Main lifts: Floor press, Incline bench press, landmine shoulder press.

🥵TUESDAY / CARDIO U (HIIT): Goal is to maintain max intensity! Recovery is just as important as effort here.

🦵🏽WEDNESDAY / STRENGTH: Lower body supersets. Focus on proper weight selection for main and accessory lift. Main lifts: sumo deadlift, KB front squat, barbell sprinter squat

🌋THURSDAY / CARDIO SUMMIT: Ascending pyramid! High heart rates for long working sets. Find your pace!

🏋️‍♀️FRIDAY / PUMP: Full body hypertrophy, with a focus on quad and back muscles. A mix of loaded exercises performed for reps and bodyweight exercises performed until failure. Main lifts: reverse + side lunges, hammer curls

❤️‍🔥SATURDAY / XTX: Last progression of this class. Get ready to progress your KB skills and have a bit more cardio sprinkled throughout. Main lifts: overhead lunges, Kb swing progression

✅SUNDAY / BALANCE + HYROX: BALANCED (8:15AM) active recovery is geared at improving mobility, core stabilization, control, and increase flexibility. Weighted stretches and recovery exercises, focused core, and Bosu ball work. Our HYROX (9:45AM) sessions are open to all members! Work on your skills or prepare for a future competition; either way it’s a great time and a better sweat!

🦵🏽WEDNESDAY / HYPER: Lower body. Building strength and muscular endurance with “cluster sets”. Main lifts: barbell sumo deadlift, kettlebell front squat, kettlebell RDL, & dumbbell sprinter squat.

🥊THURSDAY / BEAST MODE: New combo of the day = Double Jab Cross Lead Hook.

💪FRIDAY / STRENGTH: Upper body. Working on tempo, full range of motion, and time under tension. Main lifts: Incline bench press

🌋SATURDAY / CARDIO SUMMIT: Ascending intervals. Maximize your rest time!

🌀SUNDAY / BALANCED + HYROX: BALANCED (8:15AM) transitions to a more active recovery phase with a few lightly loaded exercises incorporated. HYROX (9:45AM) sessions are in full swing and open to all members!

WEEK 2️⃣ COMING THROUGH‼️

We’re still familiarizing ourselves with some new movements. But we’re starting to turn up the volume and intensity on both our lifts and cardio sessions.🔥🔥🔥

📝Here are the details-

🥵MONDAY / SHRED: Upper body focused cardio and strength. Spending a little more time in the strength zone to hone in on upper body moves!

💣TUESDAY / CARDIO HIIT: Working at MAX intensity in each set while tapping into the anaerobic energy system (*the body’s way of QUICKLY producing energy)!

🏋️‍♀️WEDNESDAY / STRENGTH: Upper and lower body session. One main lift and one accessory lift.

🥊THURSDAY / BEAST MODE: Gloves on! This is a NEW FORMAT so emphasis on being on time to talk time today!

🦵🏽FRIDAY / PUMP: Lower body session. Fewer movements but more sets/volume. Key is to increase the load slightly with each set!

🔝SATURDAY / CARDIO U: First aerobic format! Challenge is to find a pace that keeps you working until you reach 93+ HR%!

🌀SUNDAY / BALANCED + HYROX: A great combo of sessions to end our week. Flexibility + mobility and a killer HYROX week 3/10 workout.

👋🏽Hey, Westport! We’re entering a ✅NEW TRAINING BLOCK TOMORROW! Last block, we focused on strength. Now, we focus on FAT BURNING AND CARDIO! Take a look a next week’s class details!

👉NOTE: We have been notified that they will be repaving sections of the parking lot starting on Monday 6/10. We encourage everyone to arrive an extra 5-10 minutes early to have enough time make it to talk time!👈

⚡️MONDAY / XTX: Metabolic conditioning. Continuing to work with kettlebells .+ barbells to help with our main lifts.
