Weymouth Youth & Family Services Teen Center
Teens can visit after school to spend time doing homework, hanging out with friends, play video games, or play pool in a safe and supervised environment.
After school activities. Closed Municipal holidays but open during school vacations.
We want to thank the Weymouth Marine Unit. Chris and John for our annual trip to Georges Island / Fort Warren. Always an amazing adventure.
Our gardens are in bloom thank you Karen DeTellis and Farmer John from Holly Hill Farm The bees are buzzing (thank you for noticing Mr. Hayes).
We are getting ready for back to school back packs (we are always taking donations).
The Teen Center is a free space that is open all year round. Summer hours are now 12-6 mon- fri.
The Teenage Supernatural Explorers, along with Christy Parrish, have been busy this summer with investigations at the Emery Estate, the Oliver House, The USS Salem, the Youth and Family Services building itself, and we are looking forward to our investigation of Fort Warren on George's Island. (thank you to the Weymouth Police Marine Unit).
We also have weekly Yoga classes. Thank you Kelly Abatzis.
We have reopened the Fitness Room with a Tread rock climbing wall. Thank you Brian Connolly
Our Youth Workforce Development program has teens working throughout the Town Departments. Thank your Representative Murphy and Senator O'Connor.
Youth and Family Services has on going utility assistance programs. We also offer Referral assistance.
Ongoing summer food back packs from the Weymouth Food Pantry. We have free hygiene products. Stop by and see Jen.
WYFS is developing a new Teen Youth Coalition an idea was to clean up the area in the back of the building, thank you Paloma and Lenny.
We Have new out door space and are planning a beautiful Mural near our basketball hoop. We also have a new homework/ tutoring space, thank you to Life Community Church.
We have a band practicing in our building.
Teens must have a registration form to participate.

Tonight is Megan’s last night at the Weymouth Teen Center. She is moving on to bigger ( not better) things. In her time here she has represented us in the BEFJunior national pool tournaments twice in Vegas and once in New Orleans. She is a certified billiards instructor and has helped to improve the games of many of our teens. We wish her luck and she will be missed. Good luck Megan.
I want to thank Life Community Church and their friends from Georgia. They spent 4 days at our building. One of their many surprises was this amazing new homework/ tutoring space. They are an amazing group of caring and giving people.
