Alec is hoping to increase his skill level to be a very competitive member of the team.
Welcoming to the team, Chris Prout!
Chris is a junior majoring in Marketing. When Chris plays he tries to get into topspin rallies and win the point with a big shot!
Introducing to the team, Brent Sol. Brent is a sophomore studying aerospace engineering.
Brent would like to develop a more aggressive play style hoping to be a crucial asset to the team.
Welcoming back to the team, Carter Murdock!
This is Carter’s second year on the team and he’s emerging as a leader among the newer players.
Carter has never played table tennis before joining the team last year and one of his goals is to win matches for the team. “I know I will be the underdog in most of the matches that I play but I believe I have improved to the point where I can compete at the collegiate level.” -Carter
Welcoming back to the team, Aida Amir!
Aida’s biggest goal for the season is for the team to win the division. She also wants to help with her newer less experienced teammates showing them what it’s like playing against someone of a higher level.
Something Aida wants to do different this season is to do more tactical drills and to play against anyone and everyone to gain match experience.
Welcoming back to the team Victor DiMartino!
Victor is the current Vice President and leader on the team.
One of Victor’s goals for the season is for the team to win the division. Victor also wants to win Mens singles and qualify for nationals.
“This year I’m gonna try my best to help coach all of my teammates. I’m the best player on the team and I have the most experience and it’s my duty to bring everyone up to my level. It’s a long term goal of mine to get the team to qualify for nationals. That’s not gonna happen if I just coach one person or only focus on myself.” -Victor
Welcoming back to the team Brett Herrman!
Brett is the current president and overall leader on the team.
Brett’s goal is to go undefeated in division matches and for the team to win the division. He will do this by focusing on more tactical drills rather than technical drills.
Brett is on schedule to graduate this semester which could potentially be his last season. He wants to make this memorable by taking a second to stop and take in the present moment.
