Gibbs is a 6 year old neutered male, shorthair orange tabby. He was last seen around Appomattox Drive on Monday (8/5) night and was lost during the storms. He is microchipped and if you have any information regarding Gibbs, please contact 707-246-8071.

We are so excited to announce our newest addition to the Myrtle Grove family, Dr. Gabby Menezes!!!!

We first met Gabby during her Summer externship last year after she graduated from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Gabby spent even more time with us this past Spring, working closely with our doctors to provide excellent care to our patients. Gabby recently helped foster a family of mom and kittens, who now all have their forever homes!

We are ecstatic to welcome Gabby to our team and look forward to seeing her skills and talents shape the future of veterinary medicine!

❗FOUND DOG❗
This sweet, neutered male was found roaming the Sentry Oaks neighborhood near Rowsley St. He's a medium sized dog, with black and white markings and spots and is not microchipped. If you have any information on this guy, please call 910-471-7606.

Kiki is a spayed female about 4.5 years old and she is microchipped. She was last seen around 1am Saturday (7/13) in the Crosswinds/Wedgefield neighborhood between College Rd. and Masonboro Loop. She is friendly, but skittish and very food motivated. She is a tortie-calico with a black and orange face, white chest and paws and pink bald belly. As we gather to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends, let’s not forget our furry companions! Here are some tips to keep your pets safe and calm during the festivities:

🎇 Create a Safe Space: Make sure your pets have a quiet, comfortable place to retreat away from the noise.
🐾 Avoid Fireworks: Never use fireworks around pets. They can cause severe burns and trauma.
🎆 Watch the BBQ: Be mindful of what your pets eat. Certain foods can be harmful to them.

Mom and kitten are up for adoption, separate adoption is available! Please contact Myrtle Grove Animal Hospital if interested. Mom, who is going by Poppy, is planned to be spayed in the upcoming weeks, and baby boy, Forrest, is currently 7 weeks old! 😊

Myrtle Grove Animal Hospital will be closed from 12pm-2pm today, Tuesday, June 25th, for staff training.

This month we celebrate Caity and Amanda’s 4 year anniversary, as well as Julz and Laine’s 2 year anniversary with Myrtle Grove Animal Hospital! We are so grateful to these ladies for all of their hard work, and are excited to see them continue to grow in their veterinary careers!
