Our July Employee Spotlight goes to Jordan Chapman! This is what Jordan's supervisor had to say about her!

"ā€‹Jordan Chapman has been working with ABC of NC since July 2019 and is currently the Assistant Director of Development. For her first three years with us, she worked directly with clients as a Registered Behavior Technician. Jordan is truly an asset to our organization. She is thoughtful and passionate about the care our clients receive and brings positive energy to our team. She is also the face behind our fantastic newsletter, social media, and marketing designs. Our department and organization are so fortunate to have her!"

Thank you, Jordan, for all that you do for our organization!

Join us for our 17th annual Gourmet Lunchbox Lunch, where your support is essential to ABC of NC's efforts toward breaking barriers around autism stigma and building acceptance for neurodiversity in our community. Attendees will enjoy a delicious meal and dessert provided by a local restaurant, experience an inspiring presentation from our keynote speaker, Autistic self-advocate and Social Media Influencer Kaelynn Partlow, and hear from families who have benefited from the life-changing services at ABC of NC. Your presence at ABC of NC's lunch, which raises vital funds to support our services, will directly impact our Autistic community.

We are so excited to have Kaelynn as our keynote speaker this year, as she deeply understands ABC of NC's work and can speak to our impact through her firsthand experience as a Registered Behavior Technician. In 2015, she was hired by the Project Hope Foundation in South Carolina as a Registered Behavior Technician. Today, she is a Lead Technician, providing services to elementary and middle school clients and helping to develop staff training content. Featured on Netflix's Love On The Spectrum in 2022, Kaelynn amplifies her impact as a podcast guest, blog post author, and social media influencer, reaching millions worldwide in her mission for autism advocacy. Kaelynn has over 1.2 million followers across all her social media platforms.

What makes this event so special is that, while it is a fundraising event, it is free of charge and accessible to the public because we value there being no barriers to one's ability to attend. Our generous restaurants and kind sponsors make this possible, and we could not be more grateful for the immense community support we receive each year. As a community-driven organization, we strive to provide many opportunities throughout the year for people to learn about us and the neurodivergent population we serve, and our Gourmet Lunchbox Lunch is a great way to learn. We hope to see you there!

Hello! My name is Jasmine Lambeth. I received my bachelorā€™s degree in psychology at Appalachian State University and then my Master of Science degree in Counselor Education from East Carolina University, specializing in Clinical Mental Health. I have been at ABC of NC for 8 years now; I started in 2016 as a BT/RBT providing 1:1 ABA therapy services to clients, and I have also worked in the classroom as a group teacher. In August 2023, I transitioned to the Counseling Position as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. Some theories or modalities I utilize during counseling are Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe the client is the expert in their life journey, and I, as the counselor, am there to listen and offer support in finding oneā€™s own path when needed. Some of my expertise is working with clients who have anxiety, depression, ADHD, trouble in school, bullying, and career counseling. The population that I work with are children, adolescents, and adults. When Iā€™m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, working on puzzles, reading, and hiking.

I would love to get to know you and help you along your mental health journey! Click the link below to set up an appointment now!
