Congratulations to Kelly Walker, a second-year Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) scholar, for recently being commissioned and sworn in as a Captain with the United States Air Force!

👏 Congratulations to Annette Watson (DNP Class of '24) who is presenting at the American Holistic Nurses Association 44th Annual Conference. Her project is titled, "A Planetary Health Education Program for Holistic Nurses." This annual event is one of the largest and most valuable conferences dedicated to bringing together nurses who share a passion for holistic healing.

Feeling incredibly proud of our team's presentation at the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare in London! Dr. Tinisha Lambeth showcased her joint work with Dr. Amy Bell on Embedding Quality Improvement and Evidence-based Practice in an Educational Curriculum. Bing Yang, one of our nurse anesthesia residents, was featured on the poster for using quality improvement to sustain his self-care gains. It's amazing to see our collective efforts making an impact on the global stage of healthcare innovation. Here's to teamwork, collaboration, and driving positive change! 🌍💼

Our Wake Forest University School of Medicine Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) faculty Dr. Tinisha Lambeth and Dr. Amy Bell are currently in London presenting at the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare along with DNP scholars!

Our Post-Master's Doctor of Nursing Practice program was showcased by Dr. Amy Bell and Eric Marshburn this week at the North Carolina Nurses Association Nurse Practitioner Spring Symposium highlighting the value of a DNP degree.

The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) has recognized Dr. Briana Miller as the representative for North Carolina. Join with us in congratulating DNP alumni and faculty member, Briana Miller! 🎉

Congratulations to Dr. Tinisha Lambeth for being selected to this year-long program. The NLN Leadership Institute LEAD program selects nurse educators and leaders to examine organizational systems and leadership processes, strategic planning, building high performance teams, budgeting, and developing plans to advance organizational leadership.
