Alhamdulillah, they cooked their 1st pot of food for distribution in their area today on this Mubarak day of Arafah.

Lillah Foundation Gala Dinner 2024

Sneak peak at Lillah Foundations Annual Gala Dinner, where 300 guests were in attendance on 2 February 2024.

An event not just to raise funds but also raise awareness of the condition of our communities and how we can make a difference.

We remain humbled by the loyal support of our business community, our friends and families as well as our honored elders and stalwarts such as Sheikh Ebrahim Gabriels, Moulana Abdul Khaliq Allie and Qari Sheikh Abduraghmaan Sadien.

We appreciate Dr Iqbal Surve for sharing some words of advice and encouragement and for his support of Lillah Foundation through his organization, Surve Philanthropies.

And not forgetting our MC, Goolam Fakier, for always being ready to assist and keeping the audience entertained.

Shukran to Elegante Catering for the delicious food... every meal was amazing and the excellent service is highly commended.

For us, it's not just about feeding communities. It's about the quality of food that we serve our people.

Never forgetting the blessings The Almighty has bestowed upon us and always remembering that we so easily could also have been the ones waiting in line for a punnet of food... That keeps us humbled and dedicated to serving others with dignity.

New year and trying a new recipe for the community of Hanover Park today.

Always trying to serve our people nutritious meals packed with flavour.... Hope they like it!

Alhamdulillah our last cook for the year on the last day of 2023.

We actually said Xmas was our last cook but we try to always accommodate when the need arise.

Today we had an early start and cooked 2 x 100 litres for the community of Manenberg.

Today we cooked some lovely Chicken Curry and Basmati Rice for the kids and staff at An Nur Orphange.

May Allah SWT accept from our donors and may we see the end of the in soon, Aameen.

And may we get to cook in Gaza soon too!

Alhamdulillah we are back after a short break.

Today we cook 2 pots of 100 litre Akhni for our communities in need.

With your support, we have been able to assist 12 hujjaaj in fulfilling their dreams to perform their fard Hajj, Alhamdulillah.

We thank every person who donated towards our Hajj Fund and every business that came on board to help ease the financial strain of the hujjaaj of 2023.

May you all be rewarded abundantly, and you will surely be in the duas of the hujjaaj on the Day of Arafa!

With your loyal support and donations we were able to purchase Majdi Gallie a brand new wheelchair.

Majdi Gallie has Spastic Cerebral Palsy and the right wheelchair, fitted to his frame, is vital to allow Majdi get around comfortably and to keep that big smile on that beautiful face!

You may continue to support Majdi by donating to Lillah Foundation, using the reference MAJDI.

Alhamdulillah so far this week we have provided iftar distribution to various Masajid across Cape Town.

We are grateful to be able to provide food to the fasting during this holy month of Ramadan and we could not do it without your support!
