After our Thursday session with African Enterprise, this Saturday was earmarked more for the kids.

18 young ones gathered, with great excitement, for the very first children church session.
Wow, what a fun, informative time we spent together!

We ran a full children program, including songs, games, scripture, prayer, Bible stories, and snacks.
The older kids helped with the very small ones, and a local mom is hosting it for us weekly.

Many people came up to us asking for prayer to break addiction of alcohol use in their lives. They really want to live above it.

We all engaged deeper into worship by dancing together in a circle and just rejoiced in the Lord as He flooded us with His love and excitement.

We are currently learning more of the brothers' and sisters native worship songs, and that is bringing us as a church closer to God and one another(Becoming one)
It is also beautiful to see the growth taking place, for example stepping out of comfort zones and leading/learning songs in front of the whole church, sharing testimonies and even laying hands on one another with prayer.

The teaching of the day was about communion and the Last Supper before Jesus' death.
We also shared communion with the group, and the sincere thankfulness and intimate moment with God was so beautiful to see and to experience.

It was a big morning for healing as there was a lot of emotional healing but also 9 physical healings that took place.

We had a very peaceful night. Beforehand, we experienced the Lord telling us "peace before the storm," so we prayed that the storm would never come, and it never came.

Our worship was led by a few people, and not only one person, which turned out to be very special, the worship kept going deeper the more we pushed in.

At the beginning the Lord also showed us that He has a "box" for each person, like a care package that He wants to give each and everyone, but He wants to reveal it, by us asking Him to show us what is in this gift box that He has for us.

This blended so well with the message that was about how nothing is greater than the love of God, as after the message was shared, we asked the guys who wants to give their life to Jesus or rededicate their life to Him. After praying this with them, we told them about this package God has for them and gave them a moment to ask God what it is that He wants to give them. This turned out to be a very beautiful moment.

We then gave out food, which was a blessing on it's own, as we had more food than usually, and were able to give the guys full plates, for firsts, seconds, thirds and so on.

Another highlight was that some of the guys we know who are usually very drunk, were actually very sober, and we were able to pray into some deep things for one of them, since he was finally able to talk to us about this.

We had more brothers from the police station than we usually have, which shows that the relationships we are building on Tuesday nights are starting to make a difference in their lives, and they want more.

It is remarkable to see the Lord's involvement, and we sense He has bigger, more far-reaching plans here. We discussed helping on practical level going forward, like with ablution facilities etc.

A brother revealed to us that the local authorities are in the process of formalising the yellow mountain for basic infrastructure development. We saw visible evidence of newly allotted plots.

Our clothing handouts were done spontaneously on the go. This strategy worked well and brought smiles to many faces.

We carried the "Book of Hope" as a ministry material. We had many prayer encounters.
There was deliverance, healing, and counseling.

Firstly, the guys are so locked in during the services, and we are so proud of them for their growth, consistency, and hunger!

The preach was about the assurance of salvation and breaking strongholds that the enemy might still have on people. We also made it practical by breaking open 1 Corinthians 13:4–8. What does love look like?

About nine brothers put up their hands to give and re-dedicate their life to Jesus.
We didn't do small groups, but we ended up praying for specific prayer requests along with our brothers.

As we moved the church location, because the light was off at our usual meeting place, various guys came looking for us and volunteered to call the other brothers.

We gave the brothers eye masks, and they sat with closed eyes, listening to soaking music and reflected on the scriptures a volunteer was reading. The feedback from the guys was amazing. The one man testified that he could forgive his father in those very intimate moments, which he held a grudge against since childhood.

A Muslim brother joined the worship and tried to cause chaos. The other brothers reacted severely towards him. It was clear that they know they are serving Jesus. They still struggle with the revelation of love towards him, but it is clear where the brothers' allegiance lies!

Various people came up to the team members to say thank you for the blankets and toiletry bags that they received the previous week.

More and more, we are seeing people understand what they are choosing when they are choosing Jesus! We need to stay faithful and committed to what God gave us to do.

We started off with a small group of only 4 members who worshiped with us, and we locked hands together and prayed for the day. This was such an intimate moment to see us as one body of Christ. Shortly after this, the group got bigger, and we went further into worship.

The service was about the refining process that we need to go through to lose the fleshliness and become more like Christ.

We had a word of knowledge that a specific brother would be going home. By sharing this, God prepared us as a team for what was coming. This brother informed us that he is on his way to meet up with his mother and sister to reconcile and go back home with them.

After the service, we made one big circle and ministered to each and every person. We shared a lot of prophetic words.

After this, we gave out the jackets, jerseys, blankets, and food. It was so heartwarming to see the joy, happiness, gratitude, and hope being restored in our brothers and sisters.

We had some more volunteers with us this past Sunday, including three children.

One of the kids even helped our volunteer with preparing her message for Sunday, how special is that. The message was about perseverance, and there was even confirmation about the message, as at the beginning when we prayed, God gave another volunteer the word "perseverance", while she did not yet know what the message would be about.

We started worship by playing some music on the speaker, but as soon as the guys started arriving, we put off the speaker and switched over to worshipping with our voices and the drum. We have started to switch over to not using the speaker for worship anymore, as there is something much more special about it and help us to go deeper.

Sometimes, this is a bit of a challenge at the beginning as the guys can be shy to sing, but this past Sunday, there were two guys who also led the worship.
After the small groups, the guys even asked for some more worship!

The morning had smiles and laughter, and we are so abundantly blessed that God uses us to walk a road with our brothers and sisters that we see every week on the streets.

Thank you so much for everyone who has been donating toward our JACKETS & JERSEYS DRIVE!!! We are super excited about the love and help we have been seeing and receiving. We even had a life group that held an event of baking pancakes to gather some jackets and jerseys.

Just a reminder that we will be giving out the jackets and jerseys next week, and Monday will be the last day of gathering jackets and jerseys. If you hear that jacket in your closet calling to you, begging to be used, please contact us, we will be more than happy to give your jacket a special home.

We were a very big group on Sunday, both volunteers and church members. We were very privileged to have Loving You Africa and the CHOOSE LIFE Church Evangelism Team join us.
As we started worship, some flags were given out, and it was a special sight to see how intrigued our brothers were with this, as they have not worshipped with flags before.
After worship, we split up into different teams. Since we were enough volunteers, some of us could go out and evangelize whilst we did the service.
We spent some extra time in our small groups, really going into deeper discussions.

One brother was crying during the soaking session, and one of our volunteers prayed for him. He was really struggling to release and give his burdens to Jesus.

During our small group, Jesus showed an image of Him holding a heart. We asked who was struggling with giving their hearts to Jesus and to trust/believe Him and struggling to believe that they can hear the voice of God. 3

Three brothers came forward (one of them was the brother who cried during the soaking session), and we broke off all the lies. The brother who was crying during the soaking session was so touched during the prayer. You could see that the Holy Spirit was restoring joy and peace!

After service, the brothers didn't even want to leave. They were just so hungry for God and wanted more of Him.

We had an amazing morning, completely led by the Holy Spirit, and the presence of the Lord was so powerful.

The morning started off with a lot of words of knowledge on healing and allowing the Holy Spirit to take over. It was beautiful to see how we are forming one body in Christ.

Our preach was about healing.

Before we moved over to small groups to break the ice, a volunteer went in front and asked who would like to pray for healing. He picked a brother to pray for his wrist. (The Lord showed him while we were worshiping that this brother would be praying for him).

The brother prayed for him in front of the whole group, and pir volunteer explained that he had never experienced the Lord's presence in such a radical and intense way before, and the Lord healed him.
The brother that prayed was also emotional was touched by the Holy Spirit.

We then moved into small groups where each group prayed for one another and also learned how to listen to the Lord's voice and listen for words of knowledge.
It was amazing to see how each group interacted and prayed for one another.

We had so many words of knowledge and healing that took place that it was difficult to keep track of all the wonders God was busy with. It is so beautiful to see how the brothers and sisters are forming this Godly driven community.

One of our brothers who got baptized had a dream about getting baptized the night before. We thank God for always walking ahead of us and for paving the way.

During pre-service prayer, God reminded us that He makes all things new, and the Holy Spirit also revealed that one of the guys' backs will be healed as he gets baptized.

The praise & worship started off with a lot of joy, and we eventually went into a deeper worship, which also allowed for the team to minister to the guys as they were soaking in His presence. We shared a word on baptism and about Pentecost.

We had 8 baptisms in total. We prayed for them afterward for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
A brother revealed that he had pain in his back area that he could no longer feel. So we thank God for healing him and increasing his faith.

Another brother came to tell us that he was going to try to work again. He had a job at a cafe in the past and will be going there again to take a chance. We are busy making his CV so that he can go more prepared.
