In this May edition of Snippets, we celebrate our talented students and their incredible achievements. From the heartfelt Mother's Day Concert to our Choir and Rhythmony taking gold at the ATKV competition, there is much to be proud of.

Our learners showcased their competitive spirit at the All Girls’ Festival and the P Derby, where PHSG emerged victorious in various events. The Public Speaking club had a busy month, hosting a workshop with Elevate Africa and participating in multiple competitions. The Inter-House competitions were equally thrilling, with events like the Spelling Bee, Model United Nations, and Cross Country bringing the school community together in friendly rivalry.

The funds raised at our Golf Days, in 2024 and beyond, will contribute towards the funding of the following projects:

The purchase of a 22 seater bus to be used to transport our girls to various activities.

Peripherals for our new hall which will be constructed in partnership with Abman Developers, a project which has been under discussion since 2012. This hall will seat the entire school for assemblies, which has not been possible for more than 10 years and will boast indoor basketball, hockey and netball courts.

Our long-term solar project. PHSG is fortunate that we do not experience load shedding, however, going off grid would be beneficial to all.

The support of our Old Girl community will determine the success of the event.
