“The Age is reporting that earlier this year, Victoria’s Treasury quietly asked investment banks to analyse all government agencies to determine how much money could be made from privatising public assets.

Premier Jacinta Allan won’t speculate on how much short-term cash her government could generate by letting private corporations administer part of the state’s births, deaths, and marriages registry, which could help pay off Victoria’s mounting debt.”

This is unbelievable. The Victorian Government is looking at privatising the Births, Deaths and Marriages registry.

So now our records are up for sale. This opens up all sorts of manipulation over our personal lives.

Furthermore do State Governments not realise that their economic woes began with privatising public assets.

Selling assets is a short term sugar hit that invariably gets wasted. The loss of income has to be made up by future generations paying more taxes.

It’s our children who lose out by privatising assets. Seriously, nothing is going to be left in the cupboard for them but debt and foreign ownership of their country.

“Starting in October 2021, which was when most Australians between the age of 18 and 40 were getting their second dose, all graphs demonstrate a sharp and alarming increase in these cardiac presentations two months prior to community spread of the virus.”

This article relates to Queensland data. However the same results were also found from FOI’s Victoria and South Australia.

It was a massive red flag that should never have been ignored.

The TGA need to explain why they never investigated the strong temporal association with the vaccines.

Farewell in love . This dog, named Greta, had arrived at the last day of her life at the age of 15 years and ended with a serious illness. The owner took them to the place where they both were happiest together. Her favorite beach. In her last hour, he caressed her fur and gently talked to her, told about her adventures together and how much he loved her, he did not leave her alone until her last breath on this world. This is how loyalty goes to a beloved animal until the end. ❤

No Regrets

My biological Father or should I say Papa, passed away just over 2 weeks ago. Attempting to go to work the next day after the sad news, I thought I’d be ok but wasn’t and just needed a day in bed to process and take time out from life. I made it just in time as he passed a few hours after I said goodbye. As hard as it is, I am glad I went to see him. I said all the things I wanted to say and spent some time with my step Mum chatting to her about life. I don’t want to have any regrets and a good friend of mine once said ‘you can’t regret not going.’ This has stuck with me and I make the effort whenever I can. About 12 years ago, I hadn’t seen my Father for about 10 years when I had my first child and he wanted to come and see me and meet his Granddaughter. With my baby in my arms and tears streaming down my face, I asked ‘why couldn’t you have been a better Father?’ I feel he answered as honestly as he could and said ‘I don’t know.’ There you have it! Sometimes we all make mistakes, even as adults and at least I asked and found out. Have you got any burning questions for the living? Don’t fear the outcome but commit to the process. It may be hard but you will be thankful that you did it. ‘You can’t ever regret not having tried.’

Core Values

Do you know what your core values are? What truely drives you??
My Mum has always prided herself on being honest. This is something that has been embedded into me from a young age and it’s one of my core values. I know what I like such as being happy, healthy, family commitment, confidence and honesty. But which one can you NOT live without???
So, write your list, come up with your top five and then rank them. Use the scenario described above such as, which one can you NOT live without and this will help you to rank them from most important to least.

Your core values can change depending on which goal you are talking about. A goal can be relationships, finance, health, business, spiritual and emotional. So if your goal is to be in control of your emotions or focus on business then your values in relation to this will change. Choose your goal and then write your values accordingly and finally rank them. You can do this with a friend or a partner. It can be fun and insightful and you will find out things about yourself you perhaps didn’t know.

“A dispute over how the Bureau of Meteorology records daily temperatures is hotting up, with the release of more than 1000 pages of data that show new probes can record different temperatures to mercury thermometers in the same location at the same time. The documents, released after a years-long Freedom of Information campaign, show temperature measurements taken using updated BOM probes in automatic weather stations at the Brisbane Airport site could be up to 0.7C warmer than the temperature taken using a traditional thermometer at the same time at the same site…. Given that even small variations in temperature recordings can have an impact on the long-term record, accuracy is vital.”

If the case for rising temperatures is so clear and undeniable, then why won’t the BOM show the evidence? What are they wanting to hide?

The answer is pretty obvious. The so called rising temperatures is a result of poor quality assurance around measuring temperature observations, rather than changes in CO2.

“A landmark study by Queensland health authorities has revealed the effects of long Covid-19 is no more severe than influenza in a highly vaccinated population.

Results from the globally unique research shocked Queensland Health boss John Gerrard, who said repeated reports of the ongoing impact of the virus suggested it was extraordinary in its ability to severely impact patients many weeks after the initial infection.

But the chief health officer said the results of the study, which will be presented at a global infectious diseases conference in Copenhagen on Monday (Queensland time), show long-term effects were almost identical to the flu.

"We were surprised about this because the sense you get from reports internationally is there is something quite unique and strange about Covid-19," Dr Gerrard said.

"And our data suggests that it really isn't unique. The symptoms people experience at 12 weeks are not dissimilar to seasonal influenza."

Dr Gerrard stressed the research does not question the seriousness of long Covid-19 but "it is not obvious that it's different from other viruses".

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the study vindicated the state government's hard border closures which shielded Queensland from widespread infection until the population was widely vaccinated. “We know our high vaccination rates protected Queenslanders from the worst of Covid-19," she said.”

How ridiculous does Anna Palaszczuk sound?

Is she arguing that we should shut society down for every virus?

Nothing will ever vindicate her cruelty and stupidity. Nothing. The sooner she trots off into into the sunset the better.

The study, while too late for many should at least give ammunition to fight those “experts” who are trying to keep Covid fear mongering alive and the rent seekers who see the fed up population as nothing more than a pin cushion.

Totalitarianism

I read this proverb today ‘the path of totalitarianism is paved with bricks of apathy.’

This rang some bells for me. How often have you spoken up to be NOT HEARD. Have you asked and to be NOT HEARD. To expressed an opinion and to be NOT HEARD. How often has it been your special day whether it be Mothers Day, your Birthday or an anniversary and it has been ignored. How often have you passed an exam or something you have worked so god damn hard for and it has NOT been ACKNOWLEDGED?

While apathy is the lack of interest or concern, then this my friend is a sign of totalitarianism. Whether this lack of apathy is from a friend, family member or loved one. This relationship is NOT healthy and it’s time you woke up ❤️

Resilience
… part one

How do you build your resilience? Reading a book on this I’m finding there are a couple of things that stand out:

1. Strong family support and networks
2. Strong support and networks from friends
3. Rather than avoiding things that make you feel uncomfortable, accept this and work with it. Being comfortable with being uncomfortable. A good friend of mine uses the metaphor, diamonds are built under pressure.
4. Exploring point 3 further, the unpleasant things are usually internal thoughts and feelings that provoke any kind of anxiety and or depression. It can sometimes be physical but not usually.
5. Living a life in line with your core values.
6. Having solid goals that you work towards, that are in line with your core values.

1. Do you have a great network of family? I love catching up with my family. They are all so diverse and brilliant in their own way and I get to catch a glimpse of their life when we spend time together. We talk about what ever is going on in our lives at the time and offer mental and emotional support and sometimes positive criticism. 🤪 If you don’t have a good network of family, then you could perhaps build a good network of friends.

2. Having a great network of friends that offer mental and emotional support and positive criticism is important. I call these ones my DIAMONDS! And they, themselves have been built under extreme pressure. They are extremely rare and come among perhaps once in a lifetime but you know when you find them because you can’t say or do the wrong thing. My diamonds have been in my life for 25-30 years and know me well enough to give support when I need it or a firm backhand (not physically but of the verbal kind). I don’t take it to heart but think about it and try to make sense of their judgement. They are usually right as I can’t lifecoach myself and they are my diamonds for a reason. As long as you don’t emotionally drain each other, this support should always be welcomed and reciprocated.

3. Being comfortable with being uncomfortable. A good example of this is when I lecture, I know for the first 5 minutes I am naturally nervous. My heart rate increases and is very uncomfortable for me, however, I also know that this subsides so I persist through the uncomfortableness to reach the other side and then I am able to focus on the content and move through what it is I need to convey. Are there things that make you uncomfortable? Can u learn to sit with this emotion, knowing it won’t last forever?

4. This point is important as the things I’m talking about in point 3 are not referring to extreme cases of physical or mental harm that require a different tactic.

5. Do you know your core values? “…Placing a primary value on our way of life allows us to continually embody what we value, from moment to moment.” (Robertson D.J., 2012) I like the way this is written and have quoted it directly because once you double down on your core values it is the light that guides us in the intrinsic things we do day to day. They help keep us happy and grounded. Once you have these under your belt you can then go about and set your goals that are in line with this.

6. Goals are usually external visions you want to accomplish. They may be long term or short term. If you commit to writing them down you are more likely to take the steps to achieve them, think about it and refine them.

Some other points in this book are around meditation or ‘applied and progressive relaxation.’ I personally find it difficult to meditate, otherwise known as the ‘art of doing nothing.’ I run through the forrest to help me focus on the present moment because if I don’t I’ll land on my face. I go to the gym for this reason also but for a good core muscle workout and yoga for relaxation and breath work. This book focuses primarily on breath work such as counting and contracting and relaxing muscle groups.

I'm only half way through so will summarise the rest for you soon xx

Weight Loss

I’ve noticed lately a rather large amount of ads on Facebook aimed at weight loss programs, diets and meals.

There’s one simple way to lose weight and I have done it since I was a child. Exercise before eating. The easiest way to achieve this is first thing in the morning when you are fasted AND it’s free!

This is how it works:

You eat your last meal in the evening, your body stores excess glucose as glycogen (in muscle and the liver which is just glucose units joined together).

To give your body the energy it needs for its basal metabolic rate (BMR is the amount of energy needed to perform life-sustaining functions) it will take some of those stored glucose units and break it down into useable energy. By the time morning comes, your body is getting very low or perhaps even used up all of its stored glycogen.

If you then go and exercise before you fuel your body again, your body will take energy from other places such as stored fat and protein. This process is called gluconeogenesis. I prefer to make sure my exercise involves cardio where my heart and lungs are exerted in order to get the maximum benefit and 2-3x per week.

The other benefit of exercising is that it increases your BMR which lasts for about 24hrs until you exercise again, hence, you are naturally burning more energy than normal simply because you have exercised which is a nice payoff.

I hope this makes sense
