Looking brand new! Time to start the reassemble 🤘

Kicking off 2023 we wanted to take the opportunity to introduce the R&C Motorsports team and vehicle!

In the drivers seat we have Rodney McCraw, Rodney has been involved in ultra4 racing for many years now, Rodney’s background being victorian winch challenge. Rodney bought his jimmys car in 2017 and since has been building and evolving the car to what it is today.

In the navigators seat we have Carly Elborne, Carly’s background also being winch challenge the two share a lot of common concepts and ideas that work well together as a team! Carly also races her limited class suzuki in the Ultra4 Australia series.

Now for the exciting part the race car!

The 176 buggy is a striking orange jeep style body on a Jimmy’s chassis, powered by an
L98 running a TH400 and atlas transfer. Riding on kings coilovers and bypass all round, spidertracks diffs 5:38 gears rolling 40inch mickeys thompsons on racelines wheels. And on the front a 8274 warn high mount winch.

This year our goal is to race Cliffhanger 4wd Event in October. Rodney’s raced Cliffhanger in 2021 so this will be his second Cliffhanger.

In the lead up we will be posting updates on the car and it’s progress and hope you all enjoy watching our journey to Cliffhanger.

Carly Elborne and Cam Marks and the team have done an amazing job to get the car to were it is. Had an a great weekend meeting Carly’s parents and know how proud they are of her.
