We have introduced a small 2% price increase to our markup this month. This helps cover the escalating costs in deliveries, rent and other overheads. We have always kept our markup to a minimum to simply cover our costs and continue to operate as a community not-for-profit. Rest assured you will still be getting a better deal than shopping at retail outlets, whilst supporting local farmers and producers.
Collection is from the Fawkner Bowls Club on Sunday 17th November.

We have a new delivery of Arbequina extra virgin olive oil, but due to some tecnhincal reasons we can't add it into our shop at the moment. We'll try and do this before the shop closes tomorrow, but if not, you can purchase on Sunday at distro day.
Unfortunately the organic olive oil we have purchased in the past is out of stock and all other producers we’ve tried are in the same boat this year. So please note the Arbequina olive oil is not organic or pesticide free. The farmers keep pesticides to a minimum and there are tests to make sure there is no residue in the oil itself. However, if you prefer to wait for the organic variety this should be available in the next couple of months.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mothers and carers in our community. Celebrating motherhood in all forms and acknowledging the unseen work ALL mothers do. Whether you are a stay at home mum, a working mum, a mum-to-be, a grieving mum or someone longing to be a mother, our thoughts are with you today 💐
We are restocking homemade Japanese miso made right here in Victoria by Cooking with Koji this month.
This miso isn’t like the stuff you buy in the supermarket, this is the real deal lovingly fermented over a year. Such a great way to add nourishment and flavour to your meals over winter. You can choose from organic brown rice or lemon miso.
