City campus update: Princes Hill Tennis Club, Carlton North:

RMIT Sport have made an arrangement with the Princes Hill Tennis Club, for RMIT student members of Bundoora Tennis Club. They will get free access to use the courts at Princes Hill Tennis Club Mondays through to Fridays before 3.30pm. This will be the best option for students based at City campus.Princes Hill Tennis Club is located next to the football ground formerly known as Princes Park/Optus Oval/Carlton Football Club.

Unfortunately this year, there will not be any organised tennis at either Powlett Reserve Tennis Club or Melbourne Park. Please go to the RMIT sports webpage at: rmitlink.rmit.edu.au to get more info and to join the Bundoora Tennis Club

Hey RMIT students,
Just a reminder that Bundoora Tennis Club will be holding an open night this Thursday 28th from 6-8.30pm. This will be a good opportunity for any rmit students looking for a tennis club to join to check out and have a free hit. Note this is 10-15 mins from Bundoora campus. Committee members from Bundoora Tennis Club will be present to answer any questions you may have about the rmit uni tennis in 2019. For those closer to rmit city campus, we are still working out an option for tennis near the city and will post updates on rmitlink.rmit.edu.au

As part of Melbourne's Free Tennis Month, Bundoora Tennis Club will be hosting an evening of free tennis for all ages on the 14th and 28th of February.

2019 Semester 1
Hi guys. A new semester is almost upon us and some of you are wondering what's happening with the tennis club this year. Well this year RMIT has formed a partnership with the Bundoora Tennis Club, who are offering memberships to 2019 RMIT students and staff for $50 for the full year. They will be holding two open nights, on Thursday 14th and 28th February, from 6pm-8.30pm. These open nights will be free for all RMIT students and staff to come along for a hit and ask questions about the club.

For those who are not studying in Bundoora campus or dont live near Bundoora, information on a city-based option will be provided on the rmitlink website when the details have been finalised. Please check the webpage:

Hey guys, there has been some changes to the tennis hits we are planning. The grass court hit will be post poned , time and date TBA. The Melbourne Park hit be now go ahead tomorrow ( Friday ) at 12.00 pm till 1.30 pm on the outside courts at Melbourne Park.

Hello friends, tennis at Powlett Reserve has now finished for 2018. Thank you to all our members who joined this year. We will be having one or two tennis days at Melbourne Park after exams for those keen for another hit at the home of the Australian Open. Good luck with your exams!

Hey everyone, RMIT tennis starts back today from 12.30pm. Come down to Powlett Reserve Tennis Club and have a free hit with us today! We will be putting on a free bbq from 3 pm to start the new semester of tennis. For those new to the club you can get here by catching a train to North Richmond station, then a five minute walk. Or you can catch the route 109 or route 12 tram from Collins St to Victoria St/Hoddle St stop and 2 minute walk. See you on the courts!
