FOOTY COLOURS DAY 2024
On Friday 20th September, we will be donning our colours again across Berwick, Pakenham Lakeside and Clyde North Physio to raise money for Fight Cancer Foundation and their annual Footy Colours Day.
Fight Cancer Foundation helps support kids with cancer and their families - with money going towards giving families accommodation to be able to stay together during the terrifying experience of cancer treatment.
We raised $1100 last year and will be looking to top $2000 this year!

RUN MELBOURNE 2024
As a practice, we have decided to 'practice what we preach' and hit the pavement on Sunday July 21st for Run Melbourne!
Our staff members are taking up the challenge of testing themselves from Half Marathon distance right down to a 5k walk.
In doing so, we are raising money for the Peter Mac Cancer Foundation. Peter Mac is Australia’s only public hospital solely dedicated to cancer, and is the home of Australia’s largest cancer research group.
So please give generously to a great cause, and give us a bit of encouragement for the big day!

Matt Lambe, our exercise physiologist demonstrates how to safely perform a barbell front squat. The front squat focuses more on building the strength of the quadriceps and core muscles instead of the glutes and hamstrings in a typical back squat.
Introducing Mr Brett Moreira, Orthopaedic Surgeon. Brett has undertaken a subspecialty in Shoulder and elbow surgery and recently returned from a fellowship in Switzerland, where he worked with some of the world's best. Brett joined us for lunch to talk shoulder dislocations, rotator cuff tears, surgical management and return to sport. Brett is starting at St John of God Berwick Hospital over the coming weeks and we are very excited to work together with him.
Rotator cuff tendonopathy and rotator cuff tears are a common cause of shoulder pain. There are various degrees of tear from a partial thickness tear, to a small full thickness tear or a more significant large full thickness tear. Not all tears require surgery and often physiotherapy will help manage your rotator cuff injury. Our physiotherapists are well qualified in the management of rotator cuff injuries and can work with your GP and shoulder surgeon to achieve a good outcome for your injury.
