Linton presented his lecture on Aligners and even taught a masterclass for the 12th Borneo Dental Congress and Trade Exhibition. He even won a dance competition showcasing local Sarawak moves!

Linton participate in the 2024 Rotary Australia Vietnam Dental Health Project. A group of Australian Specialist volunteers travelled to Ho Chi Min City to help the National Hospital of Odontostomatology improve patient outcomes.

The Australian Society of Periodontology Victorian Branch invited Dr. Linton Nash and Mr. Stephen Austin to speak about autotransplantation.

We love attending local events and being an active member of our community. Last Saturday we attended the Ivanhoe Primary School for Fair. We donated some electric toothbrushes to their silent auction and had a great afternoon.

As well as lecturing, working in Ivanhoe and Benalla Dr Linton Nash also consults at the Monash Children’s hospital. At Monash Health Linton works as part of the Cleft team treating patients with craniofacial anomalies including cleft lip and palate.

Last week Linton spoke at the Australasian Cleft Lip and Palate Association Conference. He talked about managing impacted canines as part of a team in order to get the best outcomes for patients.

David and Lynette attended the 23rd Annual Congress of the Czech orthodontic society in Prague. The main topic this year is on Interdisciplinary treatment. David was excited to meet Dr Vincent Kokich Jr.
He and his late father was another father and son orthodontic team who inspired our practice when it comes to interdisciplinary collaboration.

It was a pleasure attending the World Dental Congress in Sydney Last week. Linton was invited to speak about his special interest in auto-transplantation of teeth.

Be careful of retainers around pets! A patient’s kitten managed to get their retainer out from a desk and knock it to the ground. Then their Jack Russel managed to chew it up! What a cute mischievous pair 🥰

We all love our dogs at Nash Orthodontics. Here’s a few pictures of Linton’s two canine companions in celebration of National Dog Day. Remember to always put your aligner and retainer trays up high. One of these pooches is guilty of destroying an aligner tray recently. Can you guess which one?

We recently discovered that there is a Barbie having orthodontic treatment. Naturally we had to get one to join our dental Barbies gang!

The first week of August is Dental health week! The campaign focuses on the importance of taking steps to care for your teeth and gums to help you keep your teeth and smile for life. This year, DHW is focusing on the mouth and whole-body connection. There are links between diseases in the mouth and diseases in the body. Bacteria in the mouth can travel to different sites of the body and inflammation in the mouth can increase the body’s overall inflammation.

It was great talking about Orthodontic Aligners with so many Orthodontists last week in Melbourne and Sydney. I am thrilled to have finally meet Dr Shane Langley in person and have the opportunity to lecture and learn along side him.
