We are pleased to advise our IT teams have successfully restored the servers impacted by the global CrowdStrike network outage, meaning patients can continue to proceed with their upcoming procedures and treatments as planned.

We are aware of a global network outage impacting many organisations including Ramsay Health Care.

We are assessing the impacts at a local level across our hospitals and health services network to understand which systems are affected and developing contingency plans for patients.

At this stage, we do not know how long the outrage will last. During this time, if you have questions regarding current Ramsay patients please contact your local hospital by phone.

We are excited to announce that following the completion of the first stage of development at Warringal Private Hospital, the next stage is well underway.

Our new 21-bed Recovery Room will open in early August, which will lead straight into the construction of three new operating theatres.

Simultaneously, our Emergency Department is progressing, and excavation for Tower 2 continues.

We are all very excited about the future!

On Monday, the Warringal Private Hospital Clinical Trials Team celebrated their achievements alongside our Day Oncology team, represented by NUM Jayne Darby, and Medical Oncologist Associate Professor Niall Tebbutt.

Today we honour and remember our founder, Paul Ramsay AO, who passed away exactly 10 years ago today. Paul was a philanthropist and iconic figure who helped shape Australia’s healthcare landscape for the better.

So much has changed in 10 years, but one thing that remains the same is Ramsay Health Care’s commitment to people - and this is something that would make Paul proud.

Paul lived by the phrase “people caring for people”. It’s a philosophy we continue to uphold today through looking after our patients, our staff and all our healthcare partners.
