🚨 It's Time Out July at our Hospital! 🚨

Our facility is 100% committed to providing the highest standards of patient safety.

That's why our hospital team participates in an annual Time Out July event as a safety measure to make sure that our patients receive the proper checks before surgery.

A surgical "time-out" is the surgical team's short pause, just before incision, to run through a safety checklist, confirming that they are performing the correct procedure on the correct body part of the correct patient. Following the correct procedures prior to surgery prevents complications. 🏥✅

This simple exercise brings together our valued Doctors and dedicated operating teams. In recognition of their support, all Doctors participating in Time Out July receive a free round of coffee for their entire theatre team! ☕️

Dr. Zhao is a Fellow of skin cancer college Australasia, where he is a tutor of Advanced Certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery as well as Dermatoscopy. He is a Fellow of RACGP and he was an examiner for the college.

Dr. Zhao's journey in medicine began at Shenyang Medical College in China, where he graduated in 2001 after extensive surgical training. In pursuit of greater challenges, Dr. Zhao relocated to Australia in 2006, undertaking roles in various Melbourne hospitals before settling in Albury in 2012, where his contributions to community health have been significant.

Two new 65-square metre operating theatres and eight inpatient beds 🛏️ will transition Pacific Private into a short-stay private hospital, catering to specialties like ophthalmology, plastic surgery, gastroenterology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthopaedics, and Mohs surgery.
