🔵NOT CLICKBAIT🔵 We’re super serious. We won’t charge you a cent.

Have you wondered what you body composition is really like? Is that protein shake really having the effects you want it to? Now you can tell! The Evolt360 uses bio-electrical impedance analysis to see what tissue composition your body is made up of, how balanced it is, and where you can make improvements. It’s safe, it’s quick, and it gives you a much better indicator of progress compared to just stepping on a scale. If you’re in the Heidelberg area, stop by the clinic, ask our staff if you can use the scanner. Nothing to lose!

Let’s go Bears! Very excited to see the boys back for Round 1! Good luck!

The Bears are Back!

Our 1st XI head to De Winton Park tomorrow to take on Rosanna Cricket Club in this year’s season opener.

Congratulations to our 1st XI leaders Nick Murray and Lucas Willoughby. Nick will again Captain our club this year after doing a great job last season. Lucas steps up to the role of Vice Captain and is another great achievement in his storied involvement with our club.

We are delighted to announce that Flynn Davis will make his 1st XI debut, earning cap number 228. Flynn is a product of our junior program and has rapidly risen through the senior ranks in recent seasons. Following in his father Paul’s footsteps (cap no 142), Flynn’s debut is reward for a fantastic pre-season. Well done!

We also welcome two club debutants to our 1st XI this Saturday. Wicketkeeper/batsman Basim Khan and batsman David Perrow have earned caps 229 and 230 respectively. Welcome to the family Basim and Dave!

Good luck boys! All other grades will kick off their season next weekend. We look forward to seeing a big contingent of Maroon and Blue at De Winton Park tomorrow as we take on our old HDCA rivals.

Love seeing our Hurls back at Mac! Welcome home!

Michael Hurley returns to Macleod!

The club is delighted to announce the signing of the recently retired Essendon star who played 194 games for the Bombers from 2009 until his emotional farewell game in Round 23 this year.

“It’s great to be coming home” said Michael. “Macleod Football Club holds a special place in my heart, going back to the junior club and playing some senior footy in 2006. Our family still has very close ties with the club so to pull on a Macleod jumper again will be a thrill”

The two time All-Australian is the clubs first big signing for 2023 and he is looking forward to running out with some of his closest mates.

“A lot of the guys I played junior footy with are still playing and I can’t wait to be out there soon alongside them again” he said.

Michael will manage his playing commitments at Macleod with his plans to become involved in coaching at AFL/ VFL level.

Macleod president Ean Newbold said:”The club is delighted to welcome a player of Michael’s standing in the football community back to De Winton Park. As an ex-Macleod junior, his recruitment supports our approach in providing a future home for our local juniors to continue their senior football careers” 💙🤍💛
