For the third time in three days, a woman has been murdered in Australia. A female is in custody after a woman was killed in Hamilton, Qld, this morning. The victim - aged in her 40s - is the 74th woman killed this year and the fifth woman killed in December.

A woman was stabbed to death by a male stranger today in Plympton, SA. Another woman was stabbed and is in hospital. She is the 73rd woman killed this year & the second killed in as many days.

A man has been arrested after a woman was allegedly stabbed to death at the National Zoo & Aquarium in Canberra today. The male has not been charged.
She is the 72nd woman killed this year and the fourth woman lost to violence in December. ❤️

Far too soon, I bring you news of another woman killed. A 31-year-old was stabbed to death last night in Kallangur, Qld. A man, believed to be her partner, has been taken into custody. She is the 71st Australian woman killed this year.

It is exactly 358 days since 30-year-old Jessica Zrinski disappeared from Greenfield Park in NSW.
Her family is desperate to know what happened to her and to bring her home.
No one has been charged over Jessica's disappearance but police today released a $500,000 reward for anyone providing information about what happened to her.
Jessica entered a blue Holden Commodore at 10pm on Monday, November 28. The car travelled along the M4 motorway and Great Western Highway towards the Blue Mountains.
Jessica is one of thousands of Australian women who have disappeared without a trace since white settlement.

A 90-year-old woman who was allegedly r***d and assaulted on November 15 at her care home in Bateau Bay, NSW, has died from her injuries. She is the 68th woman killed this year & the 8th woman lost to violence in a matter of two weeks. A man has been charged over the assault.

On Saturday, the body of a woman, aged in her 40s, was found in a home in Chiswick, NSW. Today, her partner is charged with her murder. She is the 7th woman killed in two weeks & the 67th woman killed this year. She died during the 16 Days of Activism to End Gendered Violence.

Six - YES SIX - women have been murdered across Australia in seven days. Police have today charged a male over the death of a woman at Felixstow, SA, last week. She is the 66th woman lost to violence in 2023 and the 6th woman killed across the past week.
