UPDATE - There will be one big workshop on the Saturday 17th of Feb (1-3pm)!!

Check out our 2 hour workshop, full of stunting and tumbling, where you can learn and develop your skills! Lead by two time world champion and Team Australia ‘22-‘23 athlete, Maddy Theobald .💛💚 This workshop is also chance to meet fellow MU athletes and some of the 2024 coaches!!

ALL LEVELS of cheer experience are welcome - we will make sure you can work alongside your level appropriate group!

Here is your chance to join MUCD for AASCF Nationals 2023!

Our 1/2 Non-Tumble All Girl Cheer Team is looking for side bases and flyers to join the team. Cheer experience is required but no tumbling is necessary. Trainings occur 5:45-7:45pm Wednesdays and 1-3pm Saturdays at Southern Cross Cheer, Preston. You must be a current Melb Uni student if you are wanting to join this team.

Our Premier Uni Hip Hop Team is looking for dancers wanting to join. Trainings occur Tuesday nights 6-7:30pm at 757 Swanston St, University of Melbourne. You must be a current Melb Uni student if you are wanting to join this team.

Our Open Uni Hip Hop Team is looking for dancers wanting to join. Trainings occur Tuesday nights 7:30-9pm at 757 Swanston St, University of Melbourne. You do not need to be a Melb Uni student to join this team.

You must be available to attend weekly trainings and compete at Nationals 25-26th November at Melbourne Convention Center.

We will only be having a tryouts for pom. You are welcome to come along and if you feel like it's not for you afterwards don't hesitate to let us know! It'll be split into to categories

2020 CLUB OF THE YEAR 🌟

MUCD is so honoured to have been awarded the Melbourne University Sport Club of the Year award. This award was given in recognition of our ability to transition to online training smoothly, and grow our club's numbers and University presence while online.

We especially wanted to post about this as an opportunity to thank our amazing 2020 coaches Abbey, Lauren, Maddy and Sabrina for the insane amount of effort they put in last year to keep this club an inviting, exciting and fun club to be a part of. Our coaches continually went above and beyond their usual roles to come up with engaging classes, online skill building, external workshops, social nights, and more! They continually adapted to new challenges and gave all our 2020 members an amazing experience that made so many of you want to stay for 2021! They made our 2020 committee's roles so much easier in a really challenging time and we couldn't have done it without their support and hard work! ❤ ❤

Thank you to the 2020 Committee: Sienna, Lily, Nadya, James and Charlotte - we achieved great things last year!

Another very special shout out to Roisín who was awarded Club Personality of the year award by Melbourne Uni Sport! Rosh brought the MUCD ✨vibes✨ last year and continues to be such a positive and motivating force in our club ❤

We also wanted to thank all of our 2020 members who are still with us for sticking through it last year on the endless zoom training and cancelled comps you truly were the MVPS!

We still have faith in what 2021 can bring for this club! This years teams are crazy talented and hard working and have shown so much determination through uncertainty! We are looking forward to seeing our teams thrive!
