Good morning ☀️ thought I'd drop a line and say hello because it's been a while.

My year has gotten off to a banging start with a couple of house moves, a new job, a bunch of travel plus settling into a new relationship and community here in the Clarence Valley.

It's been 3 years since I donned my nursing robes and it was a fantastic break after working the wards throughout the 2 year Melbourne saga of madness.

I waited patiently and prayed regularly for the right type of job so that I could continue my work in a way that complimented my lifestyle and here I am, a proud and happy Community Nurse!

My new role consists of (a lot of driving) home visits, clinical care and consultations for war veterans and widows. It's been pretty great getting back into wound care with a fresh perspective after all I have learnt about herbal healing in the past 6 years. Plus the added bonus of learning directly from the elders that I serve, particularly how they treated wounds during wars and in times of drought, poverty and with limited resources.

On the spiritual front, I am winding back my shamanic services while I reassess and remodel the foundations of my life and so for the time being I am not offering 1:1 sessions.

herbal healing potions are available as usual with some new additions to the medicine cabinet, stay tuned for more!

Upcoming events - I will be attending the in Broken Hill on the 6th & 7th of April then onto Mildura on the 22nd & 23rd of June.

Passionflower Medicine

This curiously forming fruit (from the passionfruit vine) caught my eye recently because it looked so much like a brain, which of course had me wondering...

Passionflower is one of the leading plants in my Cleanse Bum Bullets and one consistent report that I receive about this formula is it's ability to cleanse, clear and quiet the mind.

I've returned home from my travels and have settled in nicely to my new digs in Ashby Heights, Northern NSW.

Here's what's up for the next few months

- I am currently taking orders for custom made sacred tools which includes rattles, wands and witches brooms.

* If you are in the market for a commissioned creation, let's chat. I have made pentagrams, tree crowns, staffs and other ritual tools in the past with great feedback from my customers.

- I'll be hitting the local markets here in Northern Rivers so stay tuned for dates and times.

- 1:1 Sessions & Support calls are now available for booking.

* I am currently only offering 1 x Spirit Weaving Session / Womb Weaving Session per week (3 per month) and 2 x Support Calls per week which are available remotely or in person.

I am excited to be weaving in more Soul Constellation ® work into my sessions as I continue my training with Sharon Bolt Shamanic Energy Training amanicenergytraining.

What does it take to be a Shamanic Practitioner?

Let's start by clarifying that I am not a Shaman.

I am however a junior practitioner of Shamanic Healing which I have formally studied, trained and practiced under close supervision for the past 6 years.

Sorry, not sorry but a weekend workshop does not suffice nor qualify you to be a Shaman or Shamanic Practitioner.

This work is the equivalent of being a Spiritual Surgeon and in my opinion as a Registered Nurse of 12 years, there is a strikingly uncanny similarity of energetic phenomenon to all I have seen and experienced in the medical and psychiatric field.

In shamanism and animism, all physical form has an energetic and spiritual counterpart which is what we work on with the support and intervention of a trusted spirit team in shamanic spaces.

As a now senior health care professional it is my duty of care to report and seek council from the more senior staff and treating team and spiritual healing should not be exempt from this principle.

Having a real life physical teacher who has received and integrated the appropriate initiations along with credentials, expertise, experience plus full permission to share these transmissions of spiritual wisdom from a place of high quality consciousness is of utmost importance.

Imagine if all surgical interns were left to their own devices without any guidance from senior professors. That would be considered inappropriate and extremely unsafe.

This very real transaction is reflected in all tribal cultures in the way teachings have been shared and supervised along spiritual lineages from teacher to student.

We all need guidance from our elders and to think we don't is simply ignorant and highly disrespectful.

Has this path made my life easier?

No way. It has actually brought me closer than ever to my deepest pains, darkest fears and hardest truths.

Plus, I can't get away with s**t anymore because I don't have the luxury of ignorance like I used to.

Part of the journey (and responsibility) as a spiritual practitioner is expanded awareness which brings with it a whole new set of rules.
