Year 12 Gratitude Assembly 2024
Congratulations to the NSG Chess team (Joy Liu, Sarah Wang, Iris Siu, Ella Woon, Isobel Varthakavi) for qualifying for the national championships. On Saturday 21st September, our school team played against and overcame opponent teams Sydney Girls, James Ruse and Baulkham Hills to gain the opportunity to represent NSW in the Secondary Girls division. The Australian Schools Teams Championship will be held 7-8th December in Perth.

It was an action packed final Senior Challenge between NSG and NSB with our annual netball game. Both teams played exceptionally well and the skill on the court was outstanding 🤩 A big congratulations to our winning NSG team, their excellent strategies and shooting accuracy led to our win … NSG 10 and NSB 4. 🎉

Founded at Burwood Girls High School in 2010, Wear It Purple has grown into an international movement. Dedicated to celebrating and supporting rainbow youth, it aims to raise awareness about the issues faced by LGBTQIA+ people and promote inclusivity and acceptance.
By wearing purple, we stand against bullying and homophobia and show our commitment to a diverse and supportive community for LGBTQIA+ students, staff and the wider community.
