Are you a new mom of a little one under 6 months? Or expecting your first? The Brant County Health Unit is offering the Prenatal and Postnatal Program at Margot's Place every Wednesday, to moms aged 25 and younger! Postnatal is offered from 3:45pm-4:15pm and Prenatal is offered from 4:45pm-5:30pm. GREAT INCENTIVES AVAILABLE EACH WEEK FOR THOSE WHO ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE: $30 in grocery gift cards, bus passes and grocery items to go! For further info. visit:

Young moms who are enrolled in school or are seeking employment, are welcome to join us for HOMEROOM!

Every Thursday afternoon we provide childminding and a quiet environment, so that you can focus on your school work or resume. A teacher will be onsite once a month to support students completing their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

Splash in for a Halloween-themed swim on Saturday, October 26 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. There will be spooky Halloween music and a chance to jump in and pick your very own pumpkin to decorate later. 🎃 🎶 There is a limit of one pumpkin per person, while supplies last. This swim will take place in the 65-metre pool and Warm Water Pool. Free for Facility and Pool Members or regular swim admission rates will apply. Public Swim Admission Requirements will apply. 💦 👻

Attendees of the Pumpkin Plunge can participate in extra 'fang'-tastic fun activities from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the 2nd floor Activity Room. Paint your pumpkin, play co****le and giant Jenga games and have your face painted. Splash our polar bear will be available to take photos with guests between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

City of Brantford invites residents and job seekers to the Come Grow With Us Job Fair The City of Brantford is excited to announce that we will once again be hosting a “Come Grow with Us” Job Fair on Saturday, November 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Woodman Park Community Centre, 491 Grey Street Brantford.

Margot's Place is excited to once again be partnering with the Brant County Health Unit on the CrockPot Program!

In this free weekly program, spend time making new friends while preparing a healthy meal to take home. Learn about nutrition and healthy living during valuable information sessions. All ingredients provided!

Moms with newborns (0-12 months) are invited to Margot’s Place on Monday's at 1 PM for music time, parenting info, and support. Siblings are welcome!

This unique support program is facilitated by Jane Flinders, a Registered Early Childhood Educator with 30+ years of experience working with moms and babies.
Transportation may be available if needed!

On Monday, September 30th, Margot's Place will be closed for National Truth and Reconciliation Day. Jane will be offering the Parachute Program outdoors at Dufferin Park on St Paul’s Ave, on Monday, September 30th, from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM.
