The Soup for the Soul Program at St. On average we serve over 200 people at each meal.
Andrewโs United Church provides a complete, nutritionally-balanced, take-out meal Monday-Friday from 1pm-2pm served at the front door of the Church Building doors. Patrons include youth under 16, seniors, those with disabilities, unemployed, working people, homeless and transient people. Over 175 meals were served to help feed our community.
Thank you to Assumption College teachers for coming in and helping up get some prep ready for tomorrow's Thanksgiving meal.

We are so grateful for all the work Kate McGinnis Realtor - RE/MAX Escarpment and Andrew & Kate Real Estate - RE/MAX Escarpment put in to run our third annual food drive. And special thanks to U11 A 99rs and Rusty's No Frills for their help and contributions.
The generosity of the community was awesome with a trailer full of food and over $500 in cash donations.
This will help us in our work to keep feeding those in need in the Brantford community.

Rice, ground beef with veggies, pickles, and a salad with a Big Mac sauce dressing. Dessert was homemade apple pie filling and custard.

Soup for the Soul gives all people the opportunity for a free nutritious meal and social support services, serving any person in or from the Brantford, Brant, or Six Nations communities experiencing financial hardship, food insecurity, or physical need. The emergency meal program that this grant funded continues to serve 600+ meals a week to some of the most vulnerable within our community.
The Brant Community Foundation is proud to have supported Soup for the Soulโs emergency meal program!

This is a typical day of work here, some days feeding over 200 people.
This meal was a pea curry over rice with our famous cracker crack for dessert.
Today we are making Jollof rice for the first time after a request from student volunteer Daisy. Served with our popular quesadogas and some homemade chocolate peanut cookies.
We've had some busy days here as numbers climb this summer. Thank you to all the volunteers who faithfully come in each week and work hard through this heat to help feed our community.
A huge shoutout to West Brant Domino's.
Every week their staff and drivers work hard to provide a donation of fresh-made pizza for our weekly pizza day. Our clients look forward to this day and everyone appreciates the work and care put into this generous donation. Today's donation helped feed 180 people.
