I cannot thank everyone enough who I have met along the way that has helped grow not only as a trainer but as a person. Last summer, I was being treated by physio for tendonitis in my rotator cuff and my right shoulder was pretty much seized up and very painful. I needed help because physio wasn't enough. I started working with Renita right away. We started slow, Renita would check in and ask how it felt and she would switch exercises immediately if something wasn't right or it was too painful or if I hated it (i.e. good riddance, bird dog). Gradually, the weights went up, the pain went down, my shoulder started working again, and now after 5 1/2 months of work, my right shoulder is almost back to normal. I'm thankful to Renita for listening to me, being flexible and finding the right exercises for my injury and for cheering on my little victories, like carrying groceries up 3 flights of stairs or my work laptops pain free. I look forward to continuing my training with Renita now that we can focus on something other than just the injury.

My goal at first was to just get my body moving. I was starting to experience knee pain which was due to…basically lack of movement accompanied by some arthritis I didn’t know about. I signed up for personal training because I knew if I didn’t have someone waiting for me to come to the gym, I just wouldn’t go. Renita’s custom training plan challenged me to push just a bit harder each week. With Renita's guidance I felt comfortable and confident in my abilities. After a few weeks of training, it started to become part of my routine and I was feeling great! I went from having a limp and unable to walk up or down stairs without pain, to no limp and squatting with added weight and absolutely loving it!
I consider exercising to be part of who I am now, whereas before coming to RH, I didn’t really know where to begin or “how” to work out. I love how supportive Renita and everyone at RH is, the personalized training has been amazing. I would never have thought 6 months ago, or even 2 months ago that I was able to do things I am doing today – and loving it.
Honestly I can’t recommend RH enough, I am always telling my friends how great it is here!

Hey everyone, Happy Tuesday! 🫶
I’m wanting to share a little bit about what supplements I use during my on days in the gym because I feel like it’s important to let others know what different options there are and my personal thoughts 😊
So I use EAA and Protein Powder. Now EAA powder is Essential Amino Acids that our body cannot produce itself and we usually get it from our diets. Its main functions can help with protein synthesis, and promote muscle growth and repair, but it can help with so many more bodily functions. I usually take it during my workouts as I don’t use pre-workout and it’s a good flavour so it makes me happy🤩
I also use protein powder after my workouts. This can also help with muscle build, repair, creation of enzymes and hormones, weight loss, and toning of muscles. For myself, I don’t always get my daily intake for protein so this helps me get closer to that goal! 💪
